DPPt/HGSS A new victim: Jolteon

I'm stumped. The move pool of this Pokemon is pathetic IMO, yet its stats are pretty good... Either way, I'm planning to stick it on my LG team.

So anyways, once again I'm looking for suggestions. Before you give any, though, its nature is Bold (Lowers Attack, Ups Defence). That's what I got right off the bat, and it's what I saved with (resetting would've meant losing a half-hour of game time). I've done that twice now when chosing Eevee... You'd think I'd learn to save beforehand by this point ¬_¬

Anyways, ideas please. All I've got in mind now is something involving Toxic...

Not very good at this when I'm sober, so don't take too much notice

Thunderbolt
Toxic
Double Team
??? Thunder wave maybe? But it's speed should be good enough to not rely on this.

You mean you make better movesets when you're drunk? Ironic much :)

Btw - I haven't evolved my Eevee yet so pretty much all Eevee-level up moves are available.

No, I THINK I meant I was bad when I am sober, so worse when drunk. I THINK.

You could always go for a Baton Passer, using Double Team if you wanted.

Just giving Jolteon a Thunderbolt as its only offesive move leaves it pretty vulnerable. I'd give it something like Takedown, or Bite as well. Try this:

Jolteon@Magnet
(not too good with natures without NetBattle)
Thunderbolt
Bite
Toxic
Baton Pass/ Double Team

See? Leaves it less vulnerable.

At least Bite is still special (I think?) since her Jolteon has an attack lowering nature. I don't think you can put EITHER Bp or DT. If you want to use BP, DT is essential, otehrwise whats the point?

I can't believe I over looked Bite o.o

Yeah, I'll definitely use it. At least that'll give Jolteon one other offensive move ;p

Anymore ideas? Sofar I'm leaning towards Yoshi's latest (T-Bolt, Bite, Toxic, DT) ^^

With its low Attack stat Double Kick will probably be useless... Jolteon also has a very high speed stat (its highest stat for that matter). Agility would probably just be over-kill.

It does have a few good physical offensive moves, like Return, Shadow Ball, Dig, Iron Tail, and Facade, but its lowered attack stat - which was kinda low to begin with - makes me skeptical about their worth. Then there's Protect, Roar... Protect would be good for 2 on 2 battling but not so much 1 on 1.
