... I need a bit of context here, as I'm really not sure what a 'Navi' is. As in... the Megaman Battle Network things? Or something based on them?

Navis are short for NetNavis, and yes, I am talking about the ones in Megaman Battle Network. I apologize if I was being a bit vague there. (If you need any explaining about them, I'd be more than happy to since I know it from the back of my head.)
