The system should resize things for you, so your issue is filesize rather then image dimensions. Aim for about 2000x2000 max, and the image should be fine to upload. (Save it as JPG if you can, or PNG if it has transparent parts)

I have uploaded images bigger though

Right, but the system resizes them – if they're over 2048x2048, 'Charms will shrink the picture to no more than 2048 pixels in either direction automatically, to save space and bandwidth.

If you're having problems uploading an image, your issue is probably file size. Again for space and bandwidth reasons, the system won't let you upload an image bigger than 5MB - resize it to be smaller and try uploading it again.

Worth noting, by the way, that most people view this site on relatively small screens. Going much above 2048px wide won't get you any benefit people can see on their screens, even zoomed

Nah But CSP pictures look better the bigger they are and since I am using a different brush small sizes won't work

Alright, so, I just pulled that image from dA and it's 1024x828 and 205KB – so it's absolutely within the limits for what we allow here on 'Charms. You should be able to just upload it as is

Your image is 9557px wide, by the way. As I mentioned earlier, that's is pretty excessive for any image – it's wider than two 4K screens, and the image is simple enough that you don't need much resolution to preserve the lines. If you're having trouble making the lines legible, you'll want to make them thicker, rather than boosting the size of the image.
