Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
I can -maybe- approve an encounter if i get more details (and please, use Conversations rather than profile messages for these sort of requests - easier to keep track of) but I don't think a capture is in the cards.
Alright, I'll make it an encounter. Summary of the Shaymin encounter: A power-hungry Galactic Admin named Neptune is chasing a Shaymin when the RP characters come in and save it. They try to help Shaymin escape Neptune , and Luna and the Shaymin bond (although Shaymin never battles for her). Eventually, Neptune traps Shaymin, but his Pokémon rebel. Neptune is arrested, and Shaymin is returned to Eterna Forest.
Possibly. Shaymin's deal, for the most part, is absorption of pollution and poisons and purging it into a seed flare that can restore and terraform a polluted lifeless area to life. Maybe someone hired the villain to capture one by any means necessary for this sort of purpose and they're more unscrupulous in their methods than others?
I think that's something I can easily approve. Actually, there's a fun thought. If your villain is a particularly ruthless hired gun, so to speak - it would be perfectly in character for them to chase/hunt down a creature like that for a long time and in spite of multiple encounters with/intervention by your characters.
When confronted about it - they don't really have to explain their reasons - or simply state they've been hired to do it, that in their line of work you complete a contract no matter who you have to step on to do it, and that it's none-of-your-damn-business-who-hired-them-thank-you-very-much.
And later on, when they're properly defeated/driven off, you might actually develop that into the rest of your plot - finding out who hired this person, what their goals are, and hey - if they've been dissuaded off of using Shaymin, they might try to find other ways to pursue their goals that might be even more frelled up...
Alright! Thanks for the tips. The current story: Someone has hired the villain to capture Shaymin. Due to the questionable methods the villain uses, the RP characters intervene. They attempt to protect Shaymin, who bonds with them. Eventually, the villain's methods become way too ruthless, and the police get involved. The villain is arrested, and Shaymin is safe.
That OK?
