And I was thinking that team plasma find out about the skull necklace and create a device to use it to open the portal to go through they could go through it and they could try and take over that other world
TheForgettingBacon
TheForgettingBacon
Kayo kept it hidden from others he didn't even show his mother but in the Rp at the moment there's soon a pokemon league tournament and during one battle the necklace would be for instance blown back by the wind of a clash between two moves and one of the trainers notices the necklace

I have no idea what a Mixeli is - and to be perfectly honest that feels feels incredibly convoluted and fairly unnecessary >>

Also Team Plasma doesn't strike me as a particularly dimension-hopping set of villains, especially considering after the events of BW and BW2, what's left of Team Plasma does not have any particular aspirations of global domination - the bit of it that N still runs is dedicated to helping Pokemon,

and the bit of it that was left after Ghetsis got himself thrown in jail was basically converted into Colress' personal research organization, and the dude is not exactly into world takeover schemes.

... Unless you had Ghetsis' pet ninjas break him out of prison and have him start again - and considering how barking mad he was after his plans failed once, i doubt he'd be in any position to lead ANYONE after having failed -twice-.

TheForgettingBacon
Oh I meant that Group from sinnoh not team plasma my bad
TheForgettingBacon
TheForgettingBacon
Totally wrong team And mixeli is a YouTuber that does his own Pokemon battles
TheForgettingBacon
TheForgettingBacon
Team galactic that's it
TheForgettingBacon
TheForgettingBacon
I'm not just like asking you for permission and advice also like what you genuinely think I'm also thinking of putting a twist into that my character becomes the villain Kayo secretly forces team galactic to do his dirty work since their leader is gone and they want a new leader
StellarWind Elsydeon
StellarWind Elsydeon
See, here's the thing - team Galactic was practically a cult following a charismatic sociopath. Most of them had no idea what they were even doing, and the commanders (Saturn, Jupiter and Mars) thought they knew what the team was all about - and then they found out the hard way that Cyrus was just using them. If you played Platinum, you might have noticed that those three will NOT lightly follow a new leader.
TheForgettingBacon
TheForgettingBacon
Fair enough I have played platinum it was so long ago that I did lol but yeah I get what you mean i haven't played Sun and moon and I imagine you did what's this about Pokemon coming through portals? If i may ask cause now I'm thinking instead of doing this whole portal thing Kayo somehow breaks the skull and it releases a energy that makes them evil
TheForgettingBacon
TheForgettingBacon
Him evil sorry

The Ultra Wormhole? It's literally a wormhole leading to another dimension. The Ultra Beasts are Pokemon (of sorts) native to that other dimension. It occurs naturally very rarely but may be induced using the energy of a certain legendary - and not all the things living in that dimension are very friendly.

Also people (and pokemon) that crossed the Ultra Wormhole seem to have a certain residual energy about them - which has certain effects on them. Bulbapedia can probably explain it better than I can.

So here's the thing. An artifact being found in a temple makes some sense, although it would stand to reason that your character will have no idea what exactly he has on his hands and that the artifact itself might not demonstrate any specific powers.
StellarWind Elsydeon
StellarWind Elsydeon
However the idea of something being sealed within the artifact, giving it a certain latent power, and the idea of your character being possessed by whatever it is was sealed in the artifact is a bit Yu-Gi-Oh, but honestly, the Pokemon anime has done it before so it's not ENTIRELY outlandish.

Here's a thing about "Evil", though, which you should keep in mind. "BEHOLD, THE FORCES OF EEEEEVIL" only exists within the scope of cartoons, and is honestly not all that interesting.

Villains have varying motivations - from selfish motivations (wanting power and influence for themselves, or obsessively following a goal) to being convinced their vision for making things better is right and anyone in their way simply does not get it. The end result, however, is that villains often believe the end justifies the means.

So, what drives your character's possessed-villain side? What makes your character a good host for such a possessing spirit (or even more interestingly, if your character ISN'T one, how does the conflict between these two sides manifest?) Is it a gradual possession or an immediate one? All things to think about. ^^
