I'm notoriously awful at sneaking around, so I can't really provide much in terms of tips. I will however point out that while stealth is very useful in some bits of this game, you WILL be thrust into some direct conflicts where stealth is NOT an option, so be prepared for that.

The human AI is dumb as bricks at times and usually if you don't draw attention to yourself when hiding in tall grass it will not notice you. Unless you use the lure call. and Silent strike things to death. Rinse and repeat.

Machines are a bit more complicated - and you really should do your best to increase your override repertoire because /holy zark on a stick/, overrides are incredibly useful.

Later on when you get your claws on the Shadow War Bow, you can use corruption arrows to turn machines against each other for a short while without actually overriding them - but keep in mind that if you draw their attention too much they might attack you anyway. GLINTHAWKS. *hissses*
