If this concerns the RP I shut down, the answer is probably in the rules. If it's about anything else, sure.

Ok. Why cant we rp in our own way and if we do anything really bad like hack the website or dont rp properly then you can lock the rp. If you dont like the idea then that's fine just a suggestion

The rules are there for a multitude of reasons, but first and foremost is to maintain a common, consistent framework for posts by multiple people in a single thread. Setting forth policy means that we can step in and prevent a thread from degenerating into chaos and keeps everyone on the same page.

The rules also provide a measure of quality control and are designed to foster meaningful roleplaying. Otherwise it's just a barrage of one-liners with no actual content, which quite frankly is akin to SPAM, and no one wants that.

Ok i see your point.

ideally, following the rules would force people to put more thought and effort into their posts than they would if RPing was unregulated, and actually force people to read each other's posts and interact rather than basically scream at the clouds. This saves a LOT of headache later.

But does that mean my account is gonna get banned

Except in extreme situations, we do not - as a whole - ban people for a single offense! You were not the only person at fault for the thread in question going sideways, and no warning points have been assigned to your account. So no, you're not getting banned.
