Why hi there!

I was just reading through your roleplays and I must say, good job.
I love how you're developing Molly in them. Character development is the most important thing to me, so it's always fun to follow roleplays where the roleplayers focuses on one character to help them grow and expand their world.
Speaking of which, how old is Molly? Do you have a Mainstream Roleplay Character bio for her?

Why thank you! And yes, I always love character development in stories. Everyone has a weakness and it's the weaknesses and how they learn from them that make a character so interesting to me. Molly herself I have down as 22.

I'd be more than happy to discuss any ideas you have! Because of her travelling through the regions, it gives me a lot of leeway as to what I can do with her as I would count it as experience.

Actually, I've been trying to find a rival of sorts for my own mainstream roleplay character. I don't think there's ever been a roleplay about a blossoming rivalry, no?

That is an interesting idea! When Molly first left Alola, she did so because she wanted to get stronger. I could definitely see her finding a rival of some sort. In the modern version of when she returns to Alola, in my head at least, she is a more capable battler and more confident woman. And I think having a rival to continue to push her will certainly help!

That's awesome! Now we just have to work out the time lines. How old would Molly have been when she left Alola? I'm pretty sure she returned there at age 22 right?

That's right and she left for 8 years. So she was 14 when she left. I've never said how long she stayed in each region though so it leaves her age pretty open for discussion depending on the region. She's spend the most time in the Kanto Region given its her first region, just starting etc. Which region do you prefer?

Given at present time Molly is 22, that would make her about 2-3 years older than Cassandra. Would you mind that? This also begs the question of when they would have met. I think I'd prefer if they met for the first time in present settings, when they're both rather capable as trainers and because I like to keep moving forward. They could meet in Kalos, which is where Cassie is currently residing.

Hmm. The only problem with that is that if it's set in the current time, Molly is more involved with research then battling. Whereas when it's going around the regions, she's pushing herself to be stronger. As a 22 year old, i'd see her being more level headed and not so competitive.

Ah, I see. Well, I suppose they could have met in their travels then during their younger years. Cassie would have been in Unova for the beginning of her journey, and after collecting all eight badges, would've went on to traverse Sinnoh. Maybe their paths could intersect somewhere in those regions.
