I've done that. You create long term character goals ,aaaaand the RP died. R.I.P all those well thought out character plans that didn't get implemented.

Aaahh, that’s the worst of them all. It always just sucks to see an RP die — I admit that having a story go a way I don’t expect it to sucks, but that’d also be on me for not trying to plan it out with others. (Heck, I have plans for our Sinnoh thing, but I haven’t the first idea how to implement them — so I haven’t brought it up.)

But then again, it’s a hundred times worse to see it up and die — it’s one thing to get stonewalled and lose a way to achieve a character arc — and it’s another thing to just have it die, and not be able to at all.

/rant, sorry for the wall of text lmao. But it’s just awful haha

I like ranting. I could easily top that wall with just the thoughts off the top of my head. Probably more if I put thought to what I was typing first.

I too have plans for the Sinnoh RP. For starters I wanna explore the towns and their many attractions. I know most people wanna focus on the gyms ,but to me that's the part of the RP I have little interest in.

For me, it’s mostly just the end results of Grant’s research. Given his whole schtick was researching in-game glitches, I don’t suspect I can do that in rp.

Even so, I would like to find a way to find the Bad Egg if possible — though I’d only actually use the never hatching part.

You could always discover strange anomalies along their journey. Maybe you find tropical trees in the marshlands or a group of fire type pokémon living in the frozen northern part of Sinnoh. Strange things that boggle the mind. It's up to you as to what you want your character to accomplish of course.
