As much as I love A Nightmare On Elm Street, the end is a bit of a mess. If you're unaware, Nancy Thompson, the final girl of the movie, finds out the secret to defeating Freddy Krueger. Not fearing him. So she does just this and it works! Then there's a scene after this that just feels really awful. Nancy is fooled into thinking she won, and ends up riding off in a self-controlled car. It's strange.
