Two more things: Is drawing over an image also not allowed, and does this apply everywhere on the site (outside the Creative Corner)?

Works that have been traced/drawn over still count as art theft as they still copy another person's work and claiming it as yours - and that is not acceptable. There is a fine line between reference and trace, and crossing that line will get you ripped a new one.

To clarify re: permitted exceptions. The only images that are not Your Own Work that we permit use or edit of are:
A. Certain types of official Pokemon art - this includes sprites from the official games, Ken Sugimori art and Dream world art.

B. Bases that were specifically created by their original creator for the purpose of editing by other people, and that the original creator made free to use and edit for this purpose.

If bases are used, a link must be provided to the original base, as it was uploaded by its original creator - including the page where it was found on so we can reach out to the original creator and ask them about it in any case of dispute.
