Maybe you could give me some context on what "Unwind" is?

It's a pretty awesome book series ^^

Basically, in the book, abortion has been outlawed, so instead, parents can choose to have their children 'unwound' between the ages of 13 and 17. Unwinding is a process by which a child's organs and limbs are removed, and sold to hospitals for use in transplant operations.

Parents might choose to tell kids that they're being unwound ahead of time, but most don't, and the kids are forced to run away, or go AWOL, to escape their deaths.

Actually, the whole Unwinding thing makes me think of reading the books, that's an really interesting concept, and I'd actually be down to Roleplay that, of course with more information on it~

There are two divisions of unwinds: One, the terribles, or kids who have been unwound, usually for bad behaviour, or, if they are wards of the state, because the state homes can't afford to keep them. Then there are the tithes, who have been told from birth that they are going to be unwound for religious reasons. They are often brainwashed into thinking that unwinding is a good thing

Oh my goodness, this book got even darker... Just when you think getting your organs removed is dark, now you get this?! Jeez, this is getting good •-•

And just to top it all off, once you become an unwind, you are no longer considered human. You are government property, and until you are unwound, you will be kept in what is essentially prison, where you are made to undergo aptitude tests to gauge the value of your parts

And the worst part is, you don't even get to find out when you're going to be killed...Unless you're a tithe. Then you can choose when you die

... alright, the winner of this must get a medal for one of the most darkest stories. But yeah, very interesting!
