    Well thanks! Hahaha I think figuring out the battle system would definitely be the most difficult part. I have an idea of what I'd like to do for allotting starter pokemon already though.

    For example, say you're starting as a pokemon trainer. I'm going to generate three random numbers and (provided the pokemon are applicable) give you a choice of three starters: I just got 75, 690 and 217. Brought down to first level that would be Geodude, Skrelp and Teddiursa.

    If you don't like those you have the option of the random pokeball which is COMPLETELY random and you can't go back and rechoose, which would in this case be 10 (Lucky you) Caterpie. :}
