Zack Hunter, a kid with a life most people would call out of the ordinary, grew up in a small town off the map called Thero Town.
At the early age of 10 years old, due to unclear reasons, his house caught fire, eventually causing the entire building to go up in flames. He lost his parents, and was forced to live with his closest friend Tim Tomson. He lived that way until his first year of high school, when him and Tim were invited to Woodland Academy. A school located on a small island far off the coastline of California.
Hoping things would start looking up for Zack, him and Tim set off to the academy. The first two years went well, and Zack had some crazy experiences and met awesome new people. However, on September 14th of his Junior year, something catastrophic happened to Zack.
When he was walking to his dorm room, suddenly his bag began heating up dramatically, and was glowing bright red. He dropped it quickly, backing away from it. Managing to get it open, he started picking through to see what the source of the heat was. Finally, he noticed a glowing crimson red ruby in the bottom of his bag. Before he could try to figure out where he got it or when it was put there, it began spinning and became blindingly bright. Students began screaming and running away, and before Zack could join them the ruby fired itself straight into his chest, and everything went black.
Afterwards, he goes on to discover his new found powers (Pyrokenisis and Super-Speed), and drops out of high school. He knew he couldn’t keep his secret for long. The rest of his life seemed cut out for him. He moved back to Thero town, which was now a city after a government official bought the previous town and turned it into a world wide know city.
While in search of a place to live, an elderly man took Zack under his wing, providing him food, water, and all other necessitates. He stayed in an old run down shack outside the city. In return, all the man asked was Zack learn everything he had to teach him. After a year of training with the man, the day came where the government located the shack and assassinated the old man.
Scared and alone Zack returned to pick-pocketing people to live, and sleeping in alleyways, all while adjusting to new surroundings . Until one day, where he was practicing fire techniques in his alleyway, Zack was caught by a fellow teenager named Clark Martin. After agreeing to keep his secret, the two teamed up. Clark was the son of a high class businessman who worked for the city mayor, meaning Clark had lot's of money at his disposal. With it Zack was made a fleshed out suit, and fought crime around his city.
Months after, the duo discovered three other kids with unusual abilities, and united. But that's another story...
