A ginger tom with yellow eyes woke up with his siblings who were grey tabbies. His sister, Jaykit, had a rather short tail, his brother was Stonekit, and he was named Firekit. He had always wanted to be Clan leader with his brother as his deputy and his sister as a medicine cat. The three were also a few days away from having their apprentice ceremony. "I can't wait to be a warrior," His brother murmured beside him. "I'll be able to defeat anyone!"
Firekit stumbled out of the nursery, exhausted. Jaykit and Stonekit followed close behind him. The three decided to talk about what they wanted to do when they were older, Firekit's choice being the leader and his siblings choices being the deputy. Of course, the two argued over who should be deputy. Firekit glanced over and saw some apprentices pad away with their mentors.
Excitement built up rapidly in Firekit. His yellow eyes sparked in happiness, his ears twitching. Soon, Rainflower padded out of the nursery, nuzzling her kits. The three decided to play-fight for a bit until they fell asleep by their mother. Soon, night had fallen and the kits were still asleep.
Rainflower stared at her kits, her gaze soon falling upon Firekit. Suddenly, she found herself in the forest, flames burning everything around her. The camp was already destroyed and most of them were dead by fire, others dead by inhaling the toxic smoke. She soon saw a massive ginger tom with yellow eyes nearby. A lion and tiger appeared and fought until they too were enclosed by flames.
Soon, Rainflower's vision blurred and returnednto the nursery. A voice whispered to her; "Fire will burn the Clans in a raging Storm...four will become two once more, and flames will rule the forest..." Rainflower shuddered. It couldn't have been her son, could it? Rainflower shook her head. No, She thought. My son would never bring such harm to the forest.
