Pokémon have existed for eons and eons, they roamed the earth before any humans did. They coexisted with one another, but not many people know how these Pokémon came to be or how the world was created let alone, how Pokémon were even formed.



In the Universe, there was nothing but complete darkness and silence, not a single life existed. In that never ending darkness and chaos, there was a single egg; said egg had a size that could not be measured. Legend says that the egg was big that it would dwarf the Universe, galaxies and stars would seem like mere pebbles in comparison. But during that infinity of darkness, the egg began to shake until it cracked. From the crack of the egg rose Arceus, the creator of everything and anything, the God of both Pokémon and Humans alike. As soonest he opened his eyes, the planets, stars and galaxies started to form from the scattered pieces of his eggs. Yet, Arceus felt alone, so he created three companions to accompany him in the creation of everything. Palkia, the Pokémon in charge of creating all forms of space and giving pokemon the room to move. Then there was Dialga, this Pokémon was in charge of time, from his existence time started to move since he hatched. And last but not least, Giratina was hatched into existence. For some reason, Giratina was violent and rebellious he could not be contained, his existence represented destruction and the anti to everything that Arceus created. So he was banished to the distortion world, where he could not escape and would remain there forever. (Password: Giratina is the best legendary.)




As the Universe was being formed, there was a single planet that was beautiful than anything Arceus had ever seen, it was like blue marble. He decided to name this planet, Earth. But the planet was also alone, this saddened Arceus. So Arceus finally decided, from his heart he created three new Pokémon that would be guide all living things in the times of need. These Pokémon were Azelf who represented willpower and resided within Lake Acuity, Mesprit who represented emotions and resided within Lake Valor and then there Uxie who represented knowledge and resided within Lake Verity. But these three offspring’s of Arceus were cursed, they had betrayed him by not guiding the progenitors of all Pokémon correctly. Azelf could never be struck, Mesprit couldn't be touched, and no one could look in Uxie's eyes, lest a terrible fate befall who does so, these three would be force to stay within their Lakes to never leave their place again.




From Arceus sweat, he created Primordial Kyogre, who was in charge of creating water and filling the oceans and the sea. From his skin Primal Groudon came into existence, he created all the land for all living creatures to walk on. And from his breath came fourth one of the mightiest Pokémon ever, Rayquaza he was in charge of giving birth to the air and oxygen allowing Pokémon and humans to breath. But Primal Groudon and Kyogre were constantly fighting against each other, so Arceus grew tired and angered. So he gave Rayquaza a power that could rival that of the primals, Mega Rayquaza was borned. From the ozone layer, Rayquaza came soaring down to put an end to their war. Their clash was big that it wasted all the energy of the Primals, causing them to lose their power and from that two Orbs were created to seal their primal forms in the hope that they never obtain it again. Kyogre went to sleep at the deepest part of the ocean, as Groudon went to sleep at the deepest cavern. As for Rayquaza he soars the atmosphere guarding the world.





The first Pokémon to be created in vast quantities was Mew. Azelf, Uixie and Misprit were in charge to teach and guide these Pokémon but they failed and were cursed. At consequence of their actions, the Mews went extinct except for two, a pink and a blue Mew. These two Pokémon breaded, and then gave birth to whole new world of Pokémon. Arceus decided that Earth needed something more, so he created Regigigas, to move and manipulate the land which Groudon created. To help him in this task, Regigas created three allies to assist him Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, out of clay, ice, and magma, respectively. From this point out, the world of Pokémon was created.





The world which Arceus had created needed something else, so he created Necrozma. The Pokemon which would bring light to the world. But Necrozma wasn't satisfied with the power he had. He wanted more, he wanted to become stronger and more divine than Arceus. So he created allies to support his cause and called these allies ''Ultra Beast.'' These pokemon would fight alongside Necrozma agaisnt Arceus and the other legendary Pokemon for supremacy. But Arceus in anger would banish Necrozma from the land not before splitting him into two different Pokemon that would carry the same function of Necrozma, these pokemon would be named as Solgaleo and Lunala. Necrozma and the Ultra Beast would be banish into another dimension where they wait for their chance to strike back at Arceus. To prevent this Arceus sealed the dimension within the Altar of the Sun/Moon. Every 12 hours Solgaleo and Lunala would take turns using their powers to seal the Pillars and prevent from Necrozma from returning. This would begin the day and night cycle.





From Regigas platonic movements eight landmasses were created, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola and Galar; these eight regions would form part of what is known to be as the Vaalbara Contient, a supercontinent that is the home of the Pokémon World. But with the creation of these new regions, humans soon came into existence and they started to bond and relate themselves with Pokémon. Becoming friends these two sides started to work alongside each other to build each region respectively. But as the regions evolved and advanced, conflict would soon rise. As they would each find unique Pokémon that represented each region, the people would idolize them and turn it into a religion.



Kanto and Johto had the likes of Lugia and Ho-Oh. These two legendary Pokémon were responsible to protect and defend these two regions respectively. With Lugia residing in Johto and alongside Zapdos, Moltres an Articuno they would defend the region from any unnecessary harm. In Kanto Ho-Oh soared the skies as its protector, and with the help of Entei, Raikou and Suicune Ho-Oh protected the Pokémon and its citizens. But suddenly from both regions Pokémon started to go missing, both Ho-Oh and Lugia had no idea what was going on. So they sent their respective helpers to spectate the surrounding areas, and on one unfortunate day: Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres encountered the likes of Suicune, Raikou and Entei on the edge of the border diving each region. Being the first time these two meet, they only assumed what anyone else would. That they are enemies, so a fight broke out between the two sides. Both Pokémon from each region came out of the shadows to support their leader and so, the war began. The cry of the Pokémon dying and being hurt in battle brought the attention of Lugia and Oh-Oh and like the others, they too assumed that the disappearance of their Pokémon was too blamed on each other. Lugia and Oh-Oh began to fight, soaring across the skies they battled day and night. Their clashes would begin to cause earthquakes around the world. From the tremors of this battle, the continent Pokémon would wake from his slumber, Regigas. Angered and annoyed by the noise and the chaos he began to shake the world so violently that a chain reaction was created, from this reaction Kyogre and Groudon rose from the deepest parts of the world already being reverted back into their primal forms and engaged in further conflict, the skies would turn dark, the sun would shine so bright plant life began to perish. And from the sky, the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza came down in its Mega Form attacking the primal Pokémon to end their conflict, but this time it did not work.





From all the conflict and all the chaos going on, the most dangerous Pokémon of all opened a gap in the center of the Supercontinent Vaalbara, in Sinnoh where he was sealed Giratina rose from the grounds and soared into the skies. With his mighty roar he got the attention of the Pokémon fighting, with his immense power he installed feared in them. Giratina spoke to Lugia and Ho-Oh making them both back from their actions and retreat from the war. They realized that they were only causing more damage to the Pokémon they wanted to defend. Likewise, Articuno, Zapdos , Moltres, Suicune, Raikou and Entei fled from the battle alongside their leaders. From the ashes Celebi and Jirachi would use their powers to restore the wounded and rebuild the forest. As for Primal Kyogre and Groudon they were still at war with one another, to fend them off Rayquaza allied itself to Giratina and successfully pushed them back to the depths of the ocean where they would reside back in their slumber. As the carnage and chaos finally ended, Rayquaza went back to his home and Giratina prepared to descend to the distortion world… From the sky, three portals opened and so Dialga, master of time, Palkia, master of space alongside Arceus god of Pokémon witnessed the massacre. Furious, they blamed Giratina for the death of all the Pokémon and destruction unable to do anything against them, once again Giratina was banished to the distortion realm and this time for good. At the peak of the world, spear pillar Giratina was sealed and Palkia and Dialga would act as the gatekeepers.




From this point on, humans realized how dangerous Pokémon were and they needed a method containing them before they brought the destruction of the world. So they created Pokeballs, a device that allows them to capture and control Pokémon. This would only diminish the risk of humans and Pokémon alike being hurt and it would help humans evolve in the scientific department. This soon became a sport where people who would capture Pokémon would later be known as trainers and would use these methods competitively. To confirm the safety and wellbeing of Pokémon, the Pokémon League was created to make the proper procedures to keep in mind the wellbeing of Pokémon and organize these events. Each one of the eight regions would have what is known as Gyms, where trainers would fight to obtain a badge and challenge the leading figure of each region. In total there are 64 Gyms, 24 Elites and 8 Champions who govern over their respective league. Once a trainer conquers the 8 gyms of his/her region they will advanced to the Pokémon League dedicated to that specific region. Once winning the league the trainer will be automatically allowed to fight the Elite 4 and the Champion and have the chance to become the Pokémon Champion of the region. Each four years, a special league is announced and that is known as the Champion League. This is the place where the Elite 4 and Champion of each region join a tournament to become the Champion of Vaalbara.



But as people used these Pokémon in good nature, there were people who exploited, hurt, chased and killed these Pokémon for their own demented reasons. These people would start to form evil organizations with the purpose of destroying and or conquering the world, they used any method to do so even if it meant killing the Pokémon or experimenting on them. For this reason, the Pokémon League was also created, to protect these Pokémon and alongside the trainers they would defend their friends.
