On their way they ran into some pokemon.
"I call the Drilbur." Flame said.
"I call Scraggy." Mal said.
"Looks its a Emolga, its my'n." Katie said.
"Oshawott I choose you." Flame said.
"Snivy your up." Mal said.
"Tepig I choose you." Katie said.
"Oshawott use Tackle." Flame said and Drillbure was weakened. After a while they caught the pokemon and headed for the pokemon center first to heal the pokemon then they went into the gym.
"Pansear I choose you." Chili said.
"Oshawott your up." Flame said. "Now start with Water Gun." Pansear was knocked back.
"Stronger, Pansear use Fury Swipes." Chili said and Oshawott was weakened.
"Oshawott use Water Gun." Flame said and Pansear was defeated.
"Pansear return." Chili said.
"Pansage I choose you." Cilan said. "Pansage use Fury Swipes." Oshawott was defeated.
"Oshawott return, Drillbur I choose you." Flame said. "Drillbur use Fury Swipes." Pansage was weakened.
"Pansage use Vine Whip." Cilan said.
"Drillbur use Fury Swipes also." Flame said and they both were defeated.
"Pansage return." Cilan said.
"Drillbur return." Flame said.
"Panpour I choose you." Cress said.
"Blitzle I choose you." Flame said. "Blitzle use Shock Wave." Panpour was defeated.
*The next day*
"Pansage I choose you." Cilan said.
"Tepig your up." Katie said. "Tepig use Ember." Pansage was weakened.
"Pansage use Vine Whip." Cilan said and Tepig was weakened.
"Tepig use Ember once again." Katie said and Pansage was defeated.
"Pansage return." Cilan said.
"Panpour I choose you." Cress said. "Panpour use Water Gun." Tepig was defeated.
"Tepig return, Emolga I choose you." Katie said. "Emolga use Thunder Shock." Panpour was defeated.
"Panpour return." Cress said.
*Later at the Pokemon Center*
"That was a great first gym battle for yah Katie." Flame said.
"It was awesome for you also." Katie said.
"Thanks, but I have much stronger pokemon at the lab." Flame said.
"Eevee." Eevee said happy.
"I see you have a Eevee." Katie said.
"Yep, its a baby though, but i still love it." Flame said petting it.
"Next up for you guys is Nacrene City." Mal said.
