Mia, Kiara and Ariana all registered for the contest right after they got up, and decided to practice appeals.
"Mudkip, Dazzle'em!" Ariana yelled.
Mudkip appeared in a swirl of bubbles.
"Alright let's start off with Ancientpower!" Ariana shouted.
A silver ball appeared in the air.
"Double-edge!" Ariana shouted.
Mudkip ran with a white aura and slammed into the ball, breaking it into pieces of rock.
"Whirlpool!"
Mudkip shot a whirlpool to catch the rocks.
"Now when the rocks get to the bottom, hit the whole thing with a Hydro Pump!"
When the rocks started hitting Each other, Mudkip fired the hydro pump, launching everything skyward, then the rocks exploded, causing it to literally rain sparkles.
"That was amazing, Ari!" Firey exclaimed.
Several people walked up to them asking them questions about Legendaries sighted yesterday. Firey managed to slip out and find a bathroom, changing into a different outfit, it was green, with a green cloak, and hood.
"Alright, Rayquaza, let's tell them what happened." Firey whispered as he opened the pokeball.
Rayquaza popped out of the pokeball and immediately picked him up.
"It's the Mysterious Rayquaza Rider!" One girl exclaimed.
Ariana blushed furiously, knowing who is exactly under that cloak.
"Ariana, are you ok?" Kyle and Mia asked.
"I'm getting a little warm." Ariana responded, removing a hoodie she put on earlier.
Kyle prepared Kyogre's pokeball in case of crowd control.
"Yesterday, a few trainers were attacked, Necrozma was a bit of a blind side, but if it wasn't for Firey's Absol's quick thinking, the entire city of Jubilife could have been blown to bits." The Mysterious Rayquaza Rider explained, "He had a Rayquaza watching over him, but the group, between Rayquaza, Mew and Zygarde, they managed to scare off the Necrozma, but still, it's very rare to see Legendaries with trainers."
Ariana continued watching, mesmerized by the Mysterious Rayquaza Rider. Kiara and Kyle continued watching on, while another girl, with red hair and blue eyes watched on, not far from Kyle. She noticed him clutching a strange pokeball.
"Hi, what's that?" The girl asked Kyle.
"Oh, hi there," Kyle responded nervously, but was saved by the crowd getting out of control.
"Kyogre, Rise from the Sea!" Kyle yelled.
The crowd immediately turned towards the pond as the girl responded with, "Hold on, did you just say, KYOGRE!?"
"Yes, you're sounding like it's a scary thing." Firey called out, after returning from the bathroom.
Kyogre appeared in the pond, sleepily.
The crowd's jaws hit the lawn, as one of Ariana's Pokeballs opened, revealing a Mew.
"Holy Arceus, is that a MEW!?" The girl responded.
"Mew mew!" Mew responded, and started opening Pokeballs, all of a sudden, A Rayquaza, a Jirachi, and a Zygarde appeared.
"You five are Legendary Trainers?" The crowd asked.
"Jirachi, return!" Kiara called out.
Jirachi dematerialized in a red light into its Pokeball.
"We will answer questions later." Firey responded to the crowd, who then dispersed in whispers.
"Hi, Veronica Salieri," Veronica responded, "I'm impressed with how you handled that crowd."
"Uh, thanks," Kyle responded, as Mew floated behind Kyle's head.
"Is that your Mew behind your head?" Veronica asked, thinking about how cute Kyle is.
"No, I'm Kyogre's trainer." Kyle responded.
"Wait, WHAT!?" Veronica yelled, trying to mix flirtatiousness with utter shock.
"She took it better than us." Ariana whispered to Kiara.
Firey hugged Ariana, causing her to blush.
"Awwww!" Kiara cooed.
"Actually, I'm Mew's Trainer." Ariana tried to announce, but it went to blushing and stuttering.
"So you are the Unovan Coordinator." Veronica responded, "Be ready, I'm going to cream you in the contest."
She then turned to Kyle, "You're cute, see you at the contest."
Kyle just stood there, unsure about anything that just happened.
Two days later, the contest started.
"First up is Adrianna Argentston!"
"Alright, Greninja, Assist me!" Adrianna yelled.
A black, bipedal, frog like Pokemon appeared in bubbles.
"Start off with Rock Tomb!" Adrianna yelled.
Greninja's eyes glowed blue for a moment before four rocks fell to the ground.
"Water Shuriken!"
Greninja then threw Shuriken made of water at the rocks, splitting them, and sending them into the air.
"Ice Beam!"
A blue beam of ice hit the rocks, freezing them right where they were.
"Now, finish it up with Hydro Cannon!"
A large cannonball of water hit the frozen structure, splintering it into sparkles.
"Let's see what the judges have to say,"
Nurse Joy gave an 8, Mr. Contesta gave an 8.5 and Mr. Sukizo gave a 8.5.
"And a 25 for Adrianna! Alright, our next coordinator is Veronica Salieri!"
"Delibird, Show them what's up!" Veronica yelled.
"De-de-de!" Delibird called out as she appeared in a flash of light.
The Delivery Pokemon prepared to go.
"Start off with Gunk Shot!"
Delibird shot some random gunk, including a trash can, into the center of the arena.
"Now use Icy Wind!"
A cold wind pushed the gunk very close together and froze it.
"Show them an Ice punch!"
Delibird punched the block with a blue glow on its wing, freezing it further and sending it up.
"Now finish this with Sky Attack!"
Delibird flew into the frozen gunk at a blinding speed, breaking it into sparkles.
"Now let's see what the judges have to say."

Veronica walked with Delibird off the stage waving at everyone until she spotted Kyle, and winked at him. Kyle was still stunned.

"Metronome!"
Pix wiggled its fingers, when done rocks fell randomly from the sky.
"Use Brick Break!"
Pix broke the rocks with a glowing hand.
"Water Pulse!"
A blue ball of water hit the rocks, sending them skyward.
"Now wrap it up with Moonblast!"
Pix fired a pink ball of energy at the kicked up water Pulse and it exploded into sparkles.
"Alright, let's hear from the judges."

Nine coordinators later, "Now, Kiara Chiffon!"
Kiara walked onto the stage, Valor hanging out on her back, when it floated off.
"Valor, start this off with a Shadow Ball!" Kiara ordered.
Valor launched a Shadow Ball into the air.
"Iron Defense!"
The Aegislash glowed a metallic shine, and the shadow ball bounced off.
"Magnet Rise!"
The Steel and Ghost type narrowly avoided the Shadow Ball.
"Let's finish with Fury Cutter!"
A green glow appeared on the Royal Sword Pokemon's sword and swung into the shadow ball, making it explode into sparkles.
"Let's see what the judges have to say!"

Valor went back to being on Kiara's back, like a sword and shield. Kiara walked off the stage.
"And our final coordinator of the day, she's a famed one, The Unovan Coordinator!"
Ariana walked up, gaining the attention of every male in the room except Kyle, the male coordinators and a hooded man.
"Mudkip, Dazzle'em!" Ariana announced.
Mudkip appeared in bubbles.
"Alright Start off with Ancientpower!"

Mudkip ran at the rock with a white glow, breaking it into pieces.
"Whirlpool!"
A whirlpool appeared under the rocks, they flowed towards the bottom.
"Hydro Pump!"
Mudkip used the water type attack, and the whole structure exploded in sparkles.
"Let's see what the judges think."

"And a 29.5 for Ariana, now the appeal round is over, while the judges decide who goes to the battles."
The faces were revealed, Veronica, Adrianna, Ariana, Kiara, and Mia were all going on, along with the hooded man, a blue haired boy, and a black haired purple eyed girl.
"For the first battle, Ethan vs Sakura!"
The hooded man and the black haired, purple eyed girl appeared opposite each other.
"Now trainers, this is a one on one, five minutes on the clock, select your Pokemon."
"Solgaleo, Roar like the Sun!" Ethan announced.
A metallic lion with yellow and orange on the ends of its sun-like mane, space like eye area, in which blue eyes reside, it had black on the sides of its body and on its feet.
"What do we have here, A Solgaleo in the first round, let's see what happens next."
"I know who I'm using, so, I'm used to stronger Legendaries, like Rayquaza or Ho-oh, but still, Entei, Show them what you're made of!" Sakura declared.
"An Entei!?"
The crowd went silent, then something amazing happened, the entire crowd, barring Firey, and Kyle, mouths hit their seats.
A brown dog with steam like back fluff, two small spikes from either side of the fluff, a red face mask, with a gold bottom part, white neck fur appeared opposite the lion.
"Start!"
"Entei, Let's start this off with a Fire Fang!" Sakura ordered.
Entei's mouth lit in flames as it ran towards Solgaleo.
"Sunsteel Strike!" Ethan ordered.
Solgaleo ran towards Entei with the force of a meteor, slamming into it, sending it back a few feet.
"Entei, Flamethrower!" Sakura called out.
"Solgaleo, trip it up, Bulldoze!" Ethan called out.
Entei fired flames at the Psychic and Steel Type, which hit shortly before a wave went through the battlefield, knocking Entei further back. Entei howled in pain.
"This is bad, it knows a ground type move." Sakura internally cursed.
Sakura's points were at less than half, and Ethan's were a little higher.
"Solgaleo, get ready!" Ethan announced.
An object on Ethan's wrist started glowing, as he brought out his hands punched them together twice in rapid succession, and brought his hands out.
"Solgaleo, show them the beauty, Searing Sunraze Smash!" Ethan announced.
"ERUPTION!" Sakura ordered.
"Huh?" Ethan thought.
A huge burst of fire came from Entei's back as Solgaleo slammed into it with its own Z-Power.
Both Pokemon were breathing heavily, like the battle would be over in one attack when suddenly, Entei fell over, knocked out.
"Entei is unable to battle, Solgaleo is the winner, Ethan goes to the next round!" The referee announced, "Now will Ariana Montgomery and Gustav Berlitz report to the battlefield!"
"Hi, Sakura." Ariana responded as she passed Sakura, who was flying towards the Pokemon center to heal her Entei.
Ariana appeared on the right side as the blue haired boy appeared on the left.
"Just letting you know, The Solgaleo has blown through the last eight contests in a row." Gustav told Ariana, "So how's Firey, are you two still going at..!"
"GUSTAV BERLITZ!" Ariana yelled.
"Trainers, select one Pokemon, and you have five minutes on the clock!"
"Pansear, let's show them!" Gustav yelled.
A red and tan monkey ran off Gustav's shoulder.
"Sorry Gustav, didn't really want to use this one, but the Solgaleo prepared me to, so Let's show the World!"
A pokeball opened revealing a pink, floating cat like Pokemon with large feet, little arms, blue eyes and a Long tail. The Pokemon did a few flips in the air as it stared it's opponent down. The crowd's jaws remained in their seats.
"Start!"
"Alright Pansear, start this off with Shadow Claw!"
The fire monkey's arm was in a ominous purple glow as it ran towards the floating pink cat.
"Take to the Skies!" Ariana ordered.
All of a sudden, the cat was gone. Pansear looked around, confused. Gustav's eyes widened when he realized exactly where the Psychic type went.
"Pansear, above you!" Gustav yelled.
Pansear prepared his Shadow Claw when...
"Sky Attack!" Ariana yelled.
Mew slammed into the monkey, knocking it out on impact, when it was done, went back to floating around, looking at the crowd.
"Pansear is unable to continue, Mew is the winner, Ariana moves to the next round. Would Adrianna Argentston and Mia Corne please report to the battlefield."
Adrianna and Greninja walked down to the battlefield, Spotting Ariana.
"Adrianna!" Ariana exclaimed.
"We can talk after the battle, ok?" Adrianna responded.
Ariana nodded as she went to sit with Firey.
"Trainers, select one Pokemon, you have five minutes on the clock!"
"Pidgeot, Assist me!" Adrianna yelled.
A Pidgeot appeared in front of his trainer.
A small green Pokemon walked into the battlefield and immediately transformed. It turned into a giant golem like creature that was green and black, with four strange wing like structures.
Whispers were heard around the crowd as Mia prepared to defeat her opponent.
"Start!"
"Zygarde, Thousand Arrows!" Mia called.
Green, arrow shaped energy flew at Pidgeot, hitting it before it could even react. The Bird Pokemon was, to everyone's surprise, still flying.
"Pidgeot, Hurricane!"
"Zygarde, Dragon Pulse!"
Pidgeot got shot out of the sky with a purple dragon shape, and landed on the ground, knocked out.
"Pidgeot is unable to continue, Zygarde is the winner, and will be facing Ethan in the next round. Will Veronica Salieri and Kiara Chiffon report to the battlefield."
Kiara appeared, with Valor hanging out on her back, and Chi walking beside her.
"Chi, let's do this!"
"Slaking, Show them!"
The Sceptile that was next to Kiara appeared opposite a large ape like Pokemon, its neck was gold, and it had a darker nose and body.
"Slaking, Shoot it out with Gunk Shot!"
Slaking fired a bunch of random stuff, including a trash can, at the Sceptile. Chi managed to dodge everything but the Trash can, which hit head on.
The grass type spun for a second before reorienting.
"Now, Leaf Blade!"
The leaves on Chi's arms each fused into one as it ran towards Slaking, Who just sat there, loafing around.
"Slaking, Slack off!"
In the stands, Firey was watching the match, and realized Ariana was next to him.
"I saw you one hit KOed Gustav's Pansear." Firey whispered.
Back to the battle, Chi had sliced the Slaking, but the Slaking took its good old time to recover, using Slack off.
"Be ready, when it does move, use Leaf Storm." Kiara whispered.
Slaking lazed about as Chi waited.
"Now, Slaking, Aerial Ace!!" Veronica yelled.
"Chi, Now!" Kiara yelled.
Chi suddenly spun leaves everywhere from the Pokemon's tail as Slaking suddenly kicked it, twice. Chi suddenly went to one knee at the super effective attack. It got back up and prepared for the next move.
"Leaf Storm, Now!" Kiara yelled.
"What!?" Veronica yelled.
The leaves hit their mark this time, not doing much of Anything to the Pokemon.
"Time's up!"
Kiara had half of her points, but Veronica had almost all of hers.
"Veronica and Slaking go on to the next round! Would Ethan and Mia report to the battlefield for the first match of round two!"
Ethan and Mia took their respective sides and prepared for battle.
"Alright, you have five minutes to show off your Pokemon in battle, so Trainers, select your Pokemon!"
"Solgaleo, Roar like the Sun!"
The lion Pokemon from the first Match appeared as the little green Pokemon walked onto the battlefield and Transformed.
"Solgaleo, how are we going to defeat THAT!?" Ethan responded as the crowd went wild with excitement over the prospect of the Legendaries battling it out.
"Start!"
"Open this up with Psyshock!" Ethan commanded.
Zygarde suddenly glowed green and all of a sudden, the battlefield glowed green and cracked. Mia watched wide-eyed in excitement as Ethan was internally thinking 'Oh Crap', the attack from Zygarde hit before Solgaleo could even move.
"Solgaleo!"
The lion roared in pain, since the move turned out to be super effective.
Back in the audience, all the jaws remained on their seats, sans Kyle, Kiara and Firey.
"That had to be Land's Wrath." A voice whispered as a pokeball shook on Firey's belt.
Kiara looked at the pokeball and asked, "What was that?"
"Rayquaza." Firey whispered in response.
"Time's up!" The referee called.
Ethan's points were next to Zero, but Mia's points were at half for managing to shake off a Searing Sunraze Smash.
"Mia and Zygarde take the first spot in the finals, utterly destroying a twenty six battle win streak! Ariana and Veronica report to the battlefield!"
Ethan was actually impressed with Mia and her battling skills.
Ariana and Veronica took their sides, and prepared to battle.
"You have five minutes on the clock, trainers select your Pokemon!"
"Mew, Let's show the World!"
The pink cat-like Pokemon floated above the ground, playing with its tail.
"Slaking, Show them!"
The ape like Pokemon lazed about.
"Start!"
"Mew, Take to the skies!" Ariana yelled.
"Oh please, Slaking, Thunder!" Veronica commanded.
The Mew came spiraling back to its spot.
"Let's try a different approach, Mew, Dig!" (Ariana)
"Slaking, Aerial Ace to interrupt!" (Veronica)
Mew dug as fast as it could, but the ape still hit. Mew was sent back to its spot.
Ariana was annoyed.
"Mew, Let's try this again, Take to the Skies!" (Ariana)
"Not this again, Slaking, Thunder!" (Veronica)
Slaking lazed about instead of following Veronica's orders.
"Ability," Veronica whispered, "Now fire a Gunk Shot right in the Pokemon's face!"
"Sky Attack!" Ariana yelled.
The Slaking and its Trainer's eyes widened when they realized exactly what Pokemon was flying at them at a blinding speed. The Gunk Shot landed, but Mew was wearing the trash can, it then flew into Slaking, losing the can moments before impact, the Slaking flew into the wall, which it then retaliated, firing a Thunder at Mew.
"Mew, use Shadow Claw on the Thunder!" Ariana yelled out.
Mew used Shadow Claw, but on the incoming attack to turn it around and hit Slaking with its own attack, now knocked out.
"Slaking is unable to battle, Mew is the winner, Ariana will be taking the second spot in the finals!"
After a little bit, Ariana and Mia were standing in the trainer spots on the field.
"Trainers, you have five minutes on the clock, select your Pokemon!"
"Mew, let's show the World!"
The pink cat-like Pokemon appeared floating in front of its trainer.
The green Pokemon jumped off Mia's shoulder, waddled onto the battlefield, and transformed into the golem from the last two rounds.
"Start!"
"Mew, Take to the Skies!" (Ariana)
"Zygarde, wait!" (Mia)
Mew flew up while Zygarde prepared to attack.
"Sky Attack!" (Ariana)
"Now, Thousand Arrows!" (Mia)
Green energy Arrows started raining down on Mew, but it still hit Zygarde. Both were back with their respective trainers.
"Mew, Shadow Claw!"
"Zygarde, Core Enforcer!"
Mew flew towards Zygarde but got caught up in a 'Z' shape and suddenly got sent back to Ariana's Side of the battlefield.
"Mew, Shadow Claw!"
Mew tried Shadow Claw again but suddenly glowed red, and repeated, as it punched and kicked Zygarde.
"That wasn't a Shadow Claw..." Ariana whispered.
"Ari, that was Outrage!" Firey yelled from the stands.
"Mew, Outrage!" Ariana yelled.
"Zygarde, Thousand Arrows!" Mia ordered.
Mew weaved through the arrows, then repeated the previous move.
"Time's up!"
Ariana was at half points, Mia was a little less.
"Ariana and Mew are the winners of the Jubilife Contest!"
The Jubilife Ribbon was blue with a official seal in the middle.
Ariana opened her ribbon case and placed the Ribbon in the case.
"I'm impressed with your Zygarde, it managed to take out Solgaleo, who utterly destroyed the Kalos Grand Festival, even with a Cresselia amongst the Pokemon, and took out my Houndoom, who was Mega Evolved, in one Bulldoze!" Ariana responded to Mia.
"Mia, you are the second person to defeat my Solgaleo." Ethan responded from the doorway.
"Who was the first?" Mia asked.
"Firey Argentston, the Trainer of Rayquaza, who took out two Ice types and Solgaleo with a Mega Rayquaza, despite type disadvantages." Ethan answered.
After some conversing between the Trainers, everyone went to the Pokemon Cent for a good night's sleep.

A cold wind pushed the gunk very close together and froze it.
"Show them an Ice punch!"
Delibird punched the block with a blue glow on its wing, freezing it further and sending it up.
"Now finish this with Sky Attack!"
Delibird flew into the frozen gunk at a blinding speed, breaking it into sparkles.
"Now let's see what the judges have to say."

"And a 25 for Veronica, next up is Mia Corne!"
Veronica walked with Delibird off the stage waving at everyone until she spotted Kyle, and winked at him. Kyle was still stunned.
Mia walked in ready.
"Pix, preparation!"
The Clefable appeared in a flash of music notes.
"Metronome!"
Pix wiggled its fingers, when done rocks fell randomly from the sky.
"Use Brick Break!"
Pix broke the rocks with a glowing hand.
"Water Pulse!"
A blue ball of water hit the rocks, sending them skyward.
"Now wrap it up with Moonblast!"
Pix fired a pink ball of energy at the kicked up water Pulse and it exploded into sparkles.
"Alright, let's hear from the judges."

"And A 26.5 for Mia Corne!"
Nine coordinators later, "Now, Kiara Chiffon!"
Kiara walked onto the stage, Valor hanging out on her back, when it floated off.
"Valor, start this off with a Shadow Ball!" Kiara ordered.
Valor launched a Shadow Ball into the air.
"Iron Defense!"
The Aegislash glowed a metallic shine, and the shadow ball bounced off.
"Magnet Rise!"
The Steel and Ghost type narrowly avoided the Shadow Ball.
"Let's finish with Fury Cutter!"
A green glow appeared on the Royal Sword Pokemon's sword and swung into the shadow ball, making it explode into sparkles.
"Let's see what the judges have to say!"

"And a 28.5 for Kiara Chiffon!"
Valor went back to being on Kiara's back, like a sword and shield. Kiara walked off the stage.
"And our final coordinator of the day, she's a famed one, The Unovan Coordinator!"
Ariana walked up, gaining the attention of every male in the room except Kyle, the male coordinators and a hooded man.
"Mudkip, Dazzle'em!" Ariana announced.
Mudkip appeared in bubbles.
"Alright Start off with Ancientpower!"
A silver ball was fired towards the ground.
"Double-edge!"
Mudkip ran at the rock with a white glow, breaking it into pieces.
"Whirlpool!"
A whirlpool appeared under the rocks, they flowed towards the bottom.
"Hydro Pump!"
Mudkip used the water type attack, and the whole structure exploded in sparkles.
"Let's see what the judges think."

"And a 29.5 for Ariana, now the appeal round is over, while the judges decide who goes to the battles."
The faces were revealed, Veronica, Adrianna, Ariana, Kiara, and Mia were all going on, along with the hooded man, a blue haired boy, and a black haired purple eyed girl.
"For the first battle, Ethan vs Sakura!"
The hooded man and the black haired, purple eyed girl appeared opposite each other.
"Now trainers, this is a one on one, five minutes on the clock, select your Pokemon."
"Solgaleo, Roar like the Sun!" Ethan announced.
A metallic lion with yellow and orange on the ends of its sun-like mane, space like eye area, in which blue eyes reside, it had black on the sides of its body and on its feet.
"What do we have here, A Solgaleo in the first round, let's see what happens next."
"I know who I'm using, so, I'm used to stronger Legendaries, like Rayquaza or Ho-oh, but still, Entei, Show them what you're made of!" Sakura declared.
"An Entei!?"
The crowd went silent, then something amazing happened, the entire crowd, barring Firey, and Kyle, mouths hit their seats.
A brown dog with steam like back fluff, two small spikes from either side of the fluff, a red face mask, with a gold bottom part, white neck fur appeared opposite the lion.
"Start!"
"Entei, Let's start this off with a Fire Fang!" Sakura ordered.
Entei's mouth lit in flames as it ran towards Solgaleo.
"Sunsteel Strike!" Ethan ordered.
Solgaleo ran towards Entei with the force of a meteor, slamming into it, sending it back a few feet.
"Entei, Flamethrower!" Sakura called out.
"Solgaleo, trip it up, Bulldoze!" Ethan called out.
Entei fired flames at the Psychic and Steel Type, which hit shortly before a wave went through the battlefield, knocking Entei further back. Entei howled in pain.
"This is bad, it knows a ground type move." Sakura internally cursed.
Sakura's points were at less than half, and Ethan's were a little higher.
"Solgaleo, get ready!" Ethan announced.
An object on Ethan's wrist started glowing, as he brought out his hands punched them together twice in rapid succession, and brought his hands out.
"Solgaleo, show them the beauty, Searing Sunraze Smash!" Ethan announced.
"ERUPTION!" Sakura ordered.
"Huh?" Ethan thought.
A huge burst of fire came from Entei's back as Solgaleo slammed into it with its own Z-Power.
Both Pokemon were breathing heavily, like the battle would be over in one attack when suddenly, Entei fell over, knocked out.
"Entei is unable to battle, Solgaleo is the winner, Ethan goes to the next round!" The referee announced, "Now will Ariana Montgomery and Gustav Berlitz report to the battlefield!"
"Hi, Sakura." Ariana responded as she passed Sakura, who was flying towards the Pokemon center to heal her Entei.
Ariana appeared on the right side as the blue haired boy appeared on the left.
"Just letting you know, The Solgaleo has blown through the last eight contests in a row." Gustav told Ariana, "So how's Firey, are you two still going at..!"
"GUSTAV BERLITZ!" Ariana yelled.
"Trainers, select one Pokemon, and you have five minutes on the clock!"
"Pansear, let's show them!" Gustav yelled.
A red and tan monkey ran off Gustav's shoulder.
"Sorry Gustav, didn't really want to use this one, but the Solgaleo prepared me to, so Let's show the World!"
A pokeball opened revealing a pink, floating cat like Pokemon with large feet, little arms, blue eyes and a Long tail. The Pokemon did a few flips in the air as it stared it's opponent down. The crowd's jaws remained in their seats.
"Start!"
"Alright Pansear, start this off with Shadow Claw!"
The fire monkey's arm was in a ominous purple glow as it ran towards the floating pink cat.
"Take to the Skies!" Ariana ordered.
All of a sudden, the cat was gone. Pansear looked around, confused. Gustav's eyes widened when he realized exactly where the Psychic type went.
"Pansear, above you!" Gustav yelled.
Pansear prepared his Shadow Claw when...
"Sky Attack!" Ariana yelled.
Mew slammed into the monkey, knocking it out on impact, when it was done, went back to floating around, looking at the crowd.
"Pansear is unable to continue, Mew is the winner, Ariana moves to the next round. Would Adrianna Argentston and Mia Corne please report to the battlefield."
Adrianna and Greninja walked down to the battlefield, Spotting Ariana.
"Adrianna!" Ariana exclaimed.
"We can talk after the battle, ok?" Adrianna responded.
Ariana nodded as she went to sit with Firey.
"Trainers, select one Pokemon, you have five minutes on the clock!"
"Pidgeot, Assist me!" Adrianna yelled.
A Pidgeot appeared in front of his trainer.
A small green Pokemon walked into the battlefield and immediately transformed. It turned into a giant golem like creature that was green and black, with four strange wing like structures.
Whispers were heard around the crowd as Mia prepared to defeat her opponent.
"Start!"
"Zygarde, Thousand Arrows!" Mia called.
Green, arrow shaped energy flew at Pidgeot, hitting it before it could even react. The Bird Pokemon was, to everyone's surprise, still flying.
"Pidgeot, Hurricane!"
"Zygarde, Dragon Pulse!"
Pidgeot got shot out of the sky with a purple dragon shape, and landed on the ground, knocked out.
"Pidgeot is unable to continue, Zygarde is the winner, and will be facing Ethan in the next round. Will Veronica Salieri and Kiara Chiffon report to the battlefield."
Kiara appeared, with Valor hanging out on her back, and Chi walking beside her.
"Chi, let's do this!"
"Slaking, Show them!"
The Sceptile that was next to Kiara appeared opposite a large ape like Pokemon, its neck was gold, and it had a darker nose and body.
"Slaking, Shoot it out with Gunk Shot!"
Slaking fired a bunch of random stuff, including a trash can, at the Sceptile. Chi managed to dodge everything but the Trash can, which hit head on.
The grass type spun for a second before reorienting.
"Now, Leaf Blade!"
The leaves on Chi's arms each fused into one as it ran towards Slaking, Who just sat there, loafing around.
"Slaking, Slack off!"
In the stands, Firey was watching the match, and realized Ariana was next to him.
"I saw you one hit KOed Gustav's Pansear." Firey whispered.
Back to the battle, Chi had sliced the Slaking, but the Slaking took its good old time to recover, using Slack off.
"Be ready, when it does move, use Leaf Storm." Kiara whispered.
Slaking lazed about as Chi waited.
"Now, Slaking, Aerial Ace!!" Veronica yelled.
"Chi, Now!" Kiara yelled.
Chi suddenly spun leaves everywhere from the Pokemon's tail as Slaking suddenly kicked it, twice. Chi suddenly went to one knee at the super effective attack. It got back up and prepared for the next move.
"Leaf Storm, Now!" Kiara yelled.
"What!?" Veronica yelled.
The leaves hit their mark this time, not doing much of Anything to the Pokemon.
"Time's up!"
Kiara had half of her points, but Veronica had almost all of hers.
"Veronica and Slaking go on to the next round! Would Ethan and Mia report to the battlefield for the first match of round two!"
Ethan and Mia took their respective sides and prepared for battle.
"Alright, you have five minutes to show off your Pokemon in battle, so Trainers, select your Pokemon!"
"Solgaleo, Roar like the Sun!"
The lion Pokemon from the first Match appeared as the little green Pokemon walked onto the battlefield and Transformed.
"Solgaleo, how are we going to defeat THAT!?" Ethan responded as the crowd went wild with excitement over the prospect of the Legendaries battling it out.
"Start!"
"Open this up with Psyshock!" Ethan commanded.
Zygarde suddenly glowed green and all of a sudden, the battlefield glowed green and cracked. Mia watched wide-eyed in excitement as Ethan was internally thinking 'Oh Crap', the attack from Zygarde hit before Solgaleo could even move.
"Solgaleo!"
The lion roared in pain, since the move turned out to be super effective.
Back in the audience, all the jaws remained on their seats, sans Kyle, Kiara and Firey.
"That had to be Land's Wrath." A voice whispered as a pokeball shook on Firey's belt.
Kiara looked at the pokeball and asked, "What was that?"
"Rayquaza." Firey whispered in response.
"Time's up!" The referee called.
Ethan's points were next to Zero, but Mia's points were at half for managing to shake off a Searing Sunraze Smash.
"Mia and Zygarde take the first spot in the finals, utterly destroying a twenty six battle win streak! Ariana and Veronica report to the battlefield!"
Ethan was actually impressed with Mia and her battling skills.
Ariana and Veronica took their sides, and prepared to battle.
"You have five minutes on the clock, trainers select your Pokemon!"
"Mew, Let's show the World!"
The pink cat-like Pokemon floated above the ground, playing with its tail.
"Slaking, Show them!"
The ape like Pokemon lazed about.
"Start!"
"Mew, Take to the skies!" Ariana yelled.
"Oh please, Slaking, Thunder!" Veronica commanded.
The Mew came spiraling back to its spot.
"Let's try a different approach, Mew, Dig!" (Ariana)
"Slaking, Aerial Ace to interrupt!" (Veronica)
Mew dug as fast as it could, but the ape still hit. Mew was sent back to its spot.
Ariana was annoyed.
"Mew, Let's try this again, Take to the Skies!" (Ariana)
"Not this again, Slaking, Thunder!" (Veronica)
Slaking lazed about instead of following Veronica's orders.
"Ability," Veronica whispered, "Now fire a Gunk Shot right in the Pokemon's face!"
"Sky Attack!" Ariana yelled.
The Slaking and its Trainer's eyes widened when they realized exactly what Pokemon was flying at them at a blinding speed. The Gunk Shot landed, but Mew was wearing the trash can, it then flew into Slaking, losing the can moments before impact, the Slaking flew into the wall, which it then retaliated, firing a Thunder at Mew.
"Mew, use Shadow Claw on the Thunder!" Ariana yelled out.
Mew used Shadow Claw, but on the incoming attack to turn it around and hit Slaking with its own attack, now knocked out.
"Slaking is unable to battle, Mew is the winner, Ariana will be taking the second spot in the finals!"
After a little bit, Ariana and Mia were standing in the trainer spots on the field.
"Trainers, you have five minutes on the clock, select your Pokemon!"
"Mew, let's show the World!"
The pink cat-like Pokemon appeared floating in front of its trainer.
The green Pokemon jumped off Mia's shoulder, waddled onto the battlefield, and transformed into the golem from the last two rounds.
"Start!"
"Mew, Take to the Skies!" (Ariana)
"Zygarde, wait!" (Mia)
Mew flew up while Zygarde prepared to attack.
"Sky Attack!" (Ariana)
"Now, Thousand Arrows!" (Mia)
Green energy Arrows started raining down on Mew, but it still hit Zygarde. Both were back with their respective trainers.
"Mew, Shadow Claw!"
"Zygarde, Core Enforcer!"
Mew flew towards Zygarde but got caught up in a 'Z' shape and suddenly got sent back to Ariana's Side of the battlefield.
"Mew, Shadow Claw!"
Mew tried Shadow Claw again but suddenly glowed red, and repeated, as it punched and kicked Zygarde.
"That wasn't a Shadow Claw..." Ariana whispered.
"Ari, that was Outrage!" Firey yelled from the stands.
"Mew, Outrage!" Ariana yelled.
"Zygarde, Thousand Arrows!" Mia ordered.
Mew weaved through the arrows, then repeated the previous move.
"Time's up!"
Ariana was at half points, Mia was a little less.
"Ariana and Mew are the winners of the Jubilife Contest!"
The Jubilife Ribbon was blue with a official seal in the middle.
Ariana opened her ribbon case and placed the Ribbon in the case.
"I'm impressed with your Zygarde, it managed to take out Solgaleo, who utterly destroyed the Kalos Grand Festival, even with a Cresselia amongst the Pokemon, and took out my Houndoom, who was Mega Evolved, in one Bulldoze!" Ariana responded to Mia.
"Mia, you are the second person to defeat my Solgaleo." Ethan responded from the doorway.
"Who was the first?" Mia asked.
"Firey Argentston, the Trainer of Rayquaza, who took out two Ice types and Solgaleo with a Mega Rayquaza, despite type disadvantages." Ethan answered.
After some conversing between the Trainers, everyone went to the Pokemon Cent for a good night's sleep.
