Fantasy RP Ideas: The Elves and Humans

by Dapper_Cat

Dapper_Cat A short summarization of the Elven people and Humanity.
Humanity

Humans are a mostly-hairless species and are one of the most dominant races in the land of Magerra. They are often at odds with the Elves, and slavery is a widely accepted practice among them. The humans live in all different sorts of places. However, the majority live in the center of the land in a large area known as Tumana.

While not as bloodthirsty as the Gatandres, Humans still have a long history of racism, prejudice, and bloodshed. They have fought many wars with the Elves, some of which they have won and others have lost. Most humans only live to around 120, and they only appeared five millennia ago, ten millennia after the war between the Gatandres and the Lufenus ended.

Tumana is a kingdom surrounded by small villages. Each village is ruled by a lord, who was granted ownership by the king, ruling from the walled castle of Armonia. There are other walled castles and villages, but Armonia is the largest. The human cities are generally the roughest place for slaves.

The Elves
The Elves of Magerra are the most peaceful race, despite the many wars they have fought in. They are, by far, the oldest race in Magerra. Elves can live for up to one thousand years, which leads them to also be among the most intelligent. While they are the physically weakest race, very few have managed to surpass Elven mages and archers. It is actually uncommon for an Elf to not possess magic to some degree.

The Elves have never practiced slavery. Elven cities are usually in large forests. Their Capital, Orea, is a large Elven city among the trees in the center of the northern wilds. They are a generally mysterious species, and many non-elves know very little on the history of the Elven people before the Lufenus and Gatandres began to spread around Magerra. The elves were the ones to found the religion that is widely used today.
