Z-Moves, Mega Evolution, Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing are all connected via auras. My colleague Prof Magnolia had studied Dynamaxing for a while now. If my theory is correct then it would mean auras have different effects depending on how they are used.
Z crystals emit strong auras that amplify the power of attacks. This aura would merge with the move creating Z-Moves.
In mega evolution the aura actually merges with the Pokemon and unleashes their true potential. This is the reason why the Pokemon is surrounded by energy whilst mega evolving. This energy is actually an aura being unleashed into the surroundings.
Dynamax and Gigantamax initially work the same as mega evolution. Instead the aura increases its size. The Aura also merges with the moves creating a max move.
I have invented a device that can manipulate these auras. I call it The Aura Manipulation Band or just Aura Brace for short. This device manipulates aura and forms an 'aura field' with the band it can manipulate the Aura field to simulate things such as dynamax but these have been amplified slightly in so what I like aura max will last for a whole battle but are slightly weaker then dynamax. Aura evolution changes the Pokemon's appearance and raise its stats. The new aura Pokemon would be given a new moveset to accompany the newly raised stats. Finally Aura Moves are much more powerful than Z-Moves and have additional effects to the target. Such as, any fire move will become Aura Flare and has a 90% of burn or confusion.
With this new technology I created I shall continue my studies.
