Shadow and Blaze finally arrive at the Team of Justice base. Christian ran to them. "Blaze, Shadow! You're alright!"
"Christian! You are not going to believe what I saw!" As Blaze excitedly explains his story to Christian, Shadow sees three pokemon in the distance. Shadow silently follows them and hides in the bushes to listen to their conversation.
"I'm telling you, there is something odd about that Treecko character." The yellow pokemon said.
"I don't see what's wrong with him, he's just a kid. Kids are odd." The green one defended.
"I do not think that he is even a pokemon." The yellow one explained.
"You can't be SERIOUS! Well then, do you think he could be that human from the Ninetales Legend?" The orange one, (that seems to somehow relate to Blaze's appearance) said wide eyed.
"I have no clue.. However, just to be sure, we will wait for a tough rescue team mission and let him help."
"And if he succeeds?"
"We will send him to Xatu."
"Xatu? Ninetales? This must be Alakazam's Team! That is his fate, I cannot help him with this one. I have my own mission, and that is to defeat Merotrophe once and for all!" Shadow thought.
"Huh?" Alakazam looked like he knew someone was hiding somewhere.
"What's the matter?" Charizard asked.
"I feel like... somebody is hiding behind those bushes. Alakazam pointed at the exact place where Shadow was hiding."
"You knew where I was this whole time? Very impressive." Shadow came out and studied the appearances of the powerful looking pokemon.
"Who are you? I know you are not a pokemon." Alakazam gave him a very curious look.
"Before I give out my identity to pokemon that could possibly try to hunt me down at any time, I would like to know who you are." Shadow gave them a suspicious look, slowly storing energy, just in case they want to stir up trouble.
"I am beginning to like this pokemon a lot." Alakazam said to Charizard and Tyranitar. "We are Team A.C.T. I am Alakazam, The Fire type is Charizard, and the Rock type is Tyranitar. We are a Gold Rank team meant to rescue pokemon not for money, but for justice! Now I believe I haven't got your name yet."
"I am Shadow. You are correct, I am not a pokemon. However, I am not a human."
"WHAT!?" Charizard looked very astonished. They all had wide eyes.
"Indeed. I am a powerful being from another dimension. I was a guardian to my planet, another planet called Earth, and now this pokemon world. One being is here for a role they have to play, yet there is another from this Ninetales Legend you speak of."
"Can you tell me if that Treecko with Blaze named Christian is the human with the role, or the human with the Ninetales Legend?" Alakazam eagerly asked.
"That I cannot do."
"Why not?" Tyranitar asked.
"Is it not our destiny to let fate answer our question of life? Every being cannot live with such curiosity or just pointing the finger at one another. We must determine our own fate. Not give someone else the blame for what destroys humanity. What life is, is to overcome our naïve ways, and to live life to where we find out the end of the world without putting the blame on someone or something else. I must go now." Shadow began to walk away.
"Wait!" Alakazam shouted. Shadow turned around. "If you are not involved with this Treecko's fate, what is your destiny?"
"To stop Merotrophe in his tracks." Shadow walked away as Alakazam's team looked at him in amazement inspired by his speech.
