Here are Skye’s friends, a Ferroseed and Trubbish. They’re clearly not as upbeat as the Ducklett. Mercury is a grouchy, sarcastic ‘mon who is very mad that he doesn’t have limbs. Maybe he has a hidden soft side? Nobody would notice this, but his face is higher up and he has less spots than a normal Ferroseed. Also, the green areas around his eyes are more rounded.
Sawyer is a very shy and insecure Trubbish. He’s like the voice of reason of the trio. However, usually no one except Skye and Mercury pay attention to him. Sawyer also has a not-very-great family. In fact, Mercury seems to have the most “ordinary” life out of the three friends. (Still working on their backstories.)
