Ruins Of Blackthorn: Season 1, Chapter 3 - Erebus

I sat behind a withered bush and listened to Lycaon and Orev's conversation. After many attempts to stop this meeting, it still happened. Orev was strong - strong enough to beat my enhanced wolverks but he could never beat me, not without help. I didn't want Orev to find that it was me who was responsible for all the attacks he had suffered before meeting Lycaon, so I whisked away silently.

The sky was turning into an azure sea now and the sun was shining brightly, towering over the castle. Then, I thought of a brilliant scheme.
"Mages! I wish for you to create a beast for me - a dragon - to defeat Orev and Lycaon! And also, gather up the Niths we have created, and make sure they think that we are not the enemies - make sure they think Orev is the enemy," I cackled. I had a sinister look of greed on my face as each mage lifted their scepters and created a silver aura in the sky. The aura sculpted a dragon - like body.

So here it was - the beast that would end Orev's life and make me the king, forever. If it didn't end Orev's life, it would have to end Lycaon's life, which would eliminate another nuisance. If it didn't end Orev, I would attack him with a greater force. But, I doubt Orev would survive. He, and Lycaon, are weak and pathetic.

Restless cobalt eyes sat concealed within the creature's hard, angular skull, which gave the creature a fierce looking appearance.
Several central horns sat atop its head, just above its enormous, cat-like ears. Several rows of small horns ran down the sides of each of its jaw lines.
Its nose was round and had two enormous nostrils and there were small crystals on its chin. A few sharp teeth poked out from the side of its mouth and gave a slight hint at the terror hiding inside.

A muscular neck ran down from its head and into a long body. The top was covered in warped scales and a row of small spikes ran down its spine.
Its bottom was covered in wide scales and was colored differently than the rest of its body. Two bulky limbs carry its body and allow the creature to stand sturdy and dignified. Each limb had thorny claws seemingly made of bone.

Delicate wings grew starting from its shoulders and ended at the middle of its back. The wings were somewhat triangular, a specialized layer of skin was all that was visible inside, and sharp, spiky scales covered the top of each visible bone.

Its graceful tail ended in a sword-like edge and was covered in the same warped scales as its body.
"Now, my beast, I command you to destroy Orev and Lycaon once and for all!" I shouted, and as soon as I finished speaking, the elegant creature flew off, the Niths struggling to keep up with it as their glide was extremely slow. I cackled evilly and picked up my staff. Of course, it wasn't magic but it had a secret feature. It could swiftly dodge attacks that were coming for it - the only flaw was that it couldn't defend me from attacks. It didn't matter, because Orev was weak and he wouldn't be able to land attacks on me.
