I think spooky is trying to say that the pencil works better than the paint brush if you're going to fill your outlines with the paint bucket.
Do you see the random little white places around where you put the color?
That's what using the brush instead of the pencil does, the pencil won't leave that.

naw i use boxes for the comic cubes then draw it regularly

Are you using the pencil tool in MS Paint? Because it works better with the fill tool! Just my advice, I'm no pro artist or anything lol
