Prolog(Chapter 0)-An Unexpected Trip To The Shore:

"Now Sceptile, finish Logan's Weavile off with Leaf Blade" commanded a boy.
Sceptile dashed at the opponent with lightning fast speed. Sceptile was a green bipedal reptilian with a slightly long neck. There were two crests on its semicircular head. His target is a bipedal, weasel-like Pokémon with a pale gray body and several feathery areas. It has a bright red crown and collar made of wide feathers and a single, thinner feather on each ear. Weavile has two tail feathers and three claws on each paw. There is a yellow, oval marking in the center of its forehead. Its eyes are red with three eyelashes, and four fangs protrude from its upper jaw.
The boy who owned the Sceptile wore a green sweat jacket and short black shorts and black glasses.
"Weavile out speed Max’s' Sceptile with Ice Shard" shouted Logan.
Weavile formed a semi-sharp small crystal of ice from its paws and shot it at the Sceptile with max speed.
"Our winner of the first match is Logan!" said the female announcer.
Max brought out his Pokeball and his KO'd Sceptile turned into a red beam of light and went inside of the poke ball.
"Aw manI was so close too." sighed the boy. Logan was wearing dark blue shorts and a yellow short-sleeved shirt and short black hair who is walking with his Weavile held out his hand in front of Max.
"Good game, Max." said Logan.
"Yeah." Max reluctantly shook his while saying.
A few hours...
Outside the tournament arena on the rooftop of this arena building, at night fireworks could be heard and announcements are being made.
"Congratulations to Logan for winning Naro League Tournament, we thank you all for participating and ~GOOD~ NIGHT!" she excitedly yelled.
He heard a rattle with Logan and his friends in the background.
"Congratulations on winning Logan." said his female friend.
"Yeah, you and your Pokemon were amazing Logan." continued his male friend.
"It wasn't just me it was you both cheering me on, I don't know what I would do without you." Logan replied.
Having heard that Max had thought to himself about the battle.
(Tch...I could have easily won that battle. Aw who am I kidding, completely annihilated me.), thought Max.
He began to clutch his tournament approval badge and he thought to himself how he was barely able to get in, he started to tear up and that every battle until the tournament got more and more difficult, he was about to throw it off the roof until...
"Max?" said a grown man.
He heard a voice that sounded familiar to him.
"Dad?!" he replied. His dad was a husky man with short black hair, a dirty white lab coat, and glasses.
"It's okay, listen it doesn't matter if you win or lose in the end it's just another battle." his father said as he tried to console him.
"It's not that but there that makes me different from the other trainers", Max replied.
"What is it?" his dad asked.
"I don't know, but I would like to start on my new journey." stated Max.
His dad was shocked when he heard those words but he also saw the burning determination in his son’s eyes to get what he was missing.
"Okay but you know you'll have to put away your Pokemon and start over from scratch with a new team, you understand, RIGHT?" asked his dad.
With the new goal, he had insights Max was determined to seek out what he was lacking.
"Yes!" he excitedly answered.
A week later...
Max are waiting on the dock while Max is about to go on board...the loading bay lined up with people making a hasty exodus.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaait!!!" his mother came screaming.
“Mom?!”, said the astounded Max.
~Luuuuuuuuuuuuuucaaaaaaaass~, you forgot your things!" his mom shouted. His mom had long blonde, a short purple dress, and a beautiful smile on her face and eyes the color of sapphires and a big duffel bag.
"You forgot your Pokemon." she reminded Max.
"I don't need them anymore, remember?" he replied.
"Well actually it's not your old Pokemon but a new one!" she explained.
Out of the duffel bag, she brought out a large silver round case and touched a button on it and it opened and in it was...
"A sleeping...Eevee" Max shockingly said.
The Eevee opened its eye as if it had been asleep forever.
"Huh? Where am I?" asked the Eevee in a high-pitched feminine voice.
Max's mother kneeled over to Eevee.
"Starting today you’re going to travel with Max, okay?" she told Eevee.
Huh? With him(pointing to Max with her paw), okay!! If I go that means I get to visit more of the outside world right?" said Eevee.
"S-"
"Sure, I'll take you anywhere you want Eevee it's a promise." promised Max interrupting his mother.
"Thank you, your my best friend." replied Eevee.
"Then let's go...best friend." Max held out his hand but instead Eevee jumped on top of his head knocking off his hat.
"Before you leave don't forget you backpack." reminded his mom.
She handed him a backpack which had been full of potions, berries, and poke balls and a big square box.
"Wow you really prepared me for this journey." he told his mom.
"Well, I want my boy to be properly prepared for his new journey. Sorry that your father couldn't be here he was busy at the lab." she told Max.
"It's okay but…”
The horn on the ship made a very loud sound as if the boat was trying to tell Max to hurry up.
He grabbed the backpack and placed it on his back. And ran up the staircase to the deck and waved his mother goodbye.
"Bye Max! Don't forget to write to me." The boat sails so far off Max and his mother both lose sight of each other. "He's really gone...he has what he's been looking for all this time...if only he noticed." she told herself.
That same day, late at night. Max and Eevee go to the dock.
“You know my journey so far has been pretty stagnant, but now that you’re here, I might be better.” Max said brazenly to Eevee.
“This boat really facilitates with our trip.” he said to himself.
"Hey Max, do you even know where we’re going?” asked Eevee.
Max looked into his shirt pocket and took out a ship destination schedule.
“It seems like we’re headed towards the Kanto region.” he answered.
“The Kan-to region? What’s it like?” wondered Eevee.
“Well I don’t know much but-” Max was about to finish what he was saying but he was interrupted by a young stranger.
"Um excuse me. Did you say Kanto?" asked a young stranger.
The stranger looked around Max's age.
"Um, uh" nervously blurted Max.
A bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with an orange body, though its underside and soles are cream-colored. It has two small fangs visible in its upper and lower jaws and blue eyes. Its arms and legs are short with four fingers and three clawed toes. A fire burns at the tip of this Pokémon’s slender tail. It appeared from behind the stranger's left leg.
"Uh...hello? Hello hello? Delcatty got your tongue?" asked the Baby Fire Lizard.
"You ask weird questions. What are you?" asked Eevee.
"What?! You don't know what I am?!" the fire lizard was shocked by the question.
"It's okay Draco, not everyone knows the superior awesomeness of the Charizard evolution line." says the young stranger.
"You're right Drake, but soon more will know." happily agreed Draco.
*mumbles* "Charizard? That means he's a Charmander." mumbled Max. “Um...you wouldn’t happen to be a Charmander...would you?
“Let’s see. I have the tail, the have the adorable face and the body structure. You guess.” the Charmander replied with a snarky attitude.
“You didn’t have to be so rude.” replied Eevee.
The adolescent lightly smacked the Charmander on the head.
“Uh, sorry for Draco’s rude behavior.” apologized the adolescent stranger.
The ship rumbled like if an earthquake had hit.
The frightened Eevee ran towards Max for safety, the alarms went off, the people were screaming in terror hiding in their rooms.
The air was filled with morose atmosphere.
From beneath the water came out a gigantic dark purple creature that resembles the massive whale two big front human-hand like fins, each with four white square-shaped nails. It has a deep blue body and a white chin area with two small spikes protruding from it. Above each eye are two white, oval-shaped spots. It has red stripes around its chin, eyes, dorsal fins, and torso. The tail is tattered with four trailing parts, the inner ones being smaller than the outer. Its eyes are small, lavendered, and menacing.
Just by looking at the ferocious monster, Max could just guess that the monster’s strength would be paramount to his own, especially without his old Pokemon. The monster had a militant look on it face.
The monster gave a daunting look towards.
“What kind of Pokemon is that?” he asked.
“I...do not know.” Eevee replied.
The giant monster screamed in agony. He let out a loud screech, and multiple giant thin water-spearlike beams appeared behind him and was aimed and shot at Max and Drake’s direction.
But right before Max’s life was about to end a mysterious creature cast a magical to protect him. One of them had a blue, yellow, and pink swan-like body and resembled the moon, the creature’s voice was sweet and gentle.
“Boys, you need to run away, this... is too dangerous!” it requested. The more it the kind creature talked the more it sounded weaker.
“Why do you protect this human, Cresselia, he stayed because he wanted to die.” said the giant monster.
“Kyogre stop, this isn’t like you, stop...this.” Cresselia struggled to scale up to the monster.
“For treason, you shall perish with this human!” Kyogre used the same water spear like blast that he used earlier, but it was much stronger. The attack had struck the ship and snap in two like a twig.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaah!” screamed Max. Due to Kyogre destroying the boat, Max had slipped and hung to the side railing on the side of the boat.
“HELP ME!” screamed Eevee with a fearful tone. Eevee was also hanging on not too far from Max.
Max tried to grab the railing pieces to move across as if he was moving on the monkey bars.
“I’ve got you, just hang on.”, Max desperately tried to reach to Eevee.
Before Max could reach Eevee, Drake grabbed her, but also still in the same predicament as Max.
“T-thanks!”, Max was overexcited.
“Well this is new side of you.”, Drake was happy as well, but it was because he got to see Max happy for the first time.
Eevee up from Drake’s hand, and up to the top of his head.
“HEY! This is my spot! *Loud growl*”, Draco did his best attempt to be scary but it ended up making Eevee laugh. They both were able to fit on Drake’s head.
Max tried to hold back laughter, but it completely failed. Drake, Eevee, and Draco all start laughing too.
Their laughter and fun were cut short when Kyogre used the same attack again, this time, Cresselia was unable to save them.
“ORIGIN PULSE!” shouted Kyogre.
“NO!” screamed Cresselia.
Kyogre shot the multiple water-spears was about to be fired in their direction.
“Aaaaah!” Max’s screaming died down after a few minutes.
“Dude. It’s not attacking us.” calmly stated Drake.
Both boys noticed Kyogre asleep, leaning on the broken side of the boat that they’re on.
“Oh. Sorry. *embarrassment blush*” Max apologized.
The side of the broken boat that Max, Eevee, Drake, and Draco are on teeters more toward the water.
“We should drop into the water.” hastily suggested Drake.
“WHAT?!” questioned the shocked Max.
“Trust me!” yelled Drake.
Max used his Pokeball and returned Eevee.
Both Max, Drake, and Draco let go of the side-railing and dropped into the ocean.
"Woo." cheered half-heartedly Max.
"Fun, right?" asked Drake.
"Yeah, but now my stuff and I are all wet." he replied.
Draco chuckled and mumbled. "That's what she said". He continued chuckling on.
"Grow up!" Drake told Draco.
"What? I'm only level 5." Draco stated as an excuse.
Max stuck out his tongue, and spat at Draco. "Pfft!"
Looming over them, unbeknownst to them, a black, shadow-like Pokémon appeared, it has a small head with a white fog-like ghostly plume billowing from its head covering one of its bright blue eyes, with the portion on its face resembling hair. It also has a red spiky growth around its neck. It has skinny arms and long black tatters hanging from its shoulders. It also has black, claw-like hands. It has the slight appearance of an hourglass figure and appears to be wearing an old, ripped cloak. It normally does not have any sort of legs, but it is able to extend stilt-like appendages in their place. In self-defense, Darkrai can retract its head and white "plume" into the pit atop its torso fringed by the aforementioned red growth.
"There could be a way we can get the lift rafts down, right?" queried Max.
As the boat started to sink more into the ocean, the final life raft was disconnected from its safety cord and fell into the ocean.
"Well, that was convenient." noted Drake.
The two boys make their way towards the boat, but as got on they hear the shriek coming from the sinking boat.
"What was that?!" asked the frightened Eevee.
"I don't know. But whatever it is, I don't like it." replied Drake.
They look up and see Darkrai rising higher and higher. The Pokemon summon two purplish black orbs with weird-looking black energy forming around it, and shoots them at the first thing it sees....the two trainers, Max, and Drake with their Pokemon. One of the orbs hits the water right in front of their boat. The powerful damage from the first orb causes a semi-big wave and knocks the boat and people/pokemon on it over into the water. The second orb hits Max, and it causes him to feel an immense shocking and burning until finally going unconscious.
