A day later, I arrived on Alaka Island! I had just heard that Lillie decided to stay on Melemele for “SAFETY” reasons. I didn’t mind though, and besides I was waiting for Gladion. If you read Episode 5, You remember that Gladion said he would have his rematch with me once I get on Alaka. Well, today is the day!
Rotom gave me a message from Gladion to meet him by the Roadside Motel, near Wela Volcano Park, where my first Alaka Trial is gonna be. Once I got there he was talking to Kiawe, the Trial Captain. The rules of our battle was simple, THREE Pokémon each, ONE Z-Move, and NO switching unless your Pokémon is defeated. “Go Sharpedo!” Gladion said. “C’mon Capn’!”. I said to my Butterfree. “Use Thrash!” Gladion ordered. Capn’ however was able to dodge his attacks making Sharpedo tired. “Now Stun Spore!” I said. “Dodge and use Ice Fang!”. It was super effective against Capn’, but I had another trick up my sleeve! “Use Razorwind!” I said. It was a critical hit! “Now use Bug Bite!” I ordered. Gladion predicted a Bug Type move. “Use Water Pledge!” He ordered. “Freeeeeee!”. Capn’ is unable to battle. Sharpedo is the winner!”. “Okay! Go Snickers!” I said. “A Fire Type? Guess he must be planning something. Use Water Pledge!” Gladion said. “Dodge and use Fire Blast!” I said. It was so powerful, that it canceled out the Water Pledge! “Now use Fury Swipes!”. “Shaaaaa.”. “Sharpedo is unable to battle! Snickers is the winner!
“Now Go Null!” He said. Snickers was waiting for this! He wants revenge on Type: Null! “Use Fire Fang!” I said. “Block it! Use Crush Claw!”. It caught Snickers in it’s grip! “Don’t give up! Use Heat Crash!”. He broke out and hit it hard! “Now Wild Charge!”. “You use Head Smash!”. Both did massive damage. “Use Smoke Screen!” Gladion said. Snickers couldn’t see a thing! “Calm Snickers!” I said “Use your fire bell to locate it.”. “Rawr!” Snickers said using Wild Charge. It hit! Although he defeated Type: Null, he too was knocked out from the recoil damage he took.
“Now Go Baby Shock!” I said. “Pichu!” He said happily. “Go Greninja!” He said. “Guess Frogadier evolved, use Thunder Shock!” I said. But it blocked it and used Water Shiriken! It almost beat Baby Shock! “Use Thunder Wave”. It was Paralyzed. “Now Thunder Punch!”. Greninja blocked one punch but was hit with the other! “Use Brick Break!” I ordered. It was super effective! “Now, Let’s end this! Gain up Z-Power buddy!”. “Use ALL.....OUT......PUMMELING!!!”. “PIIIIIIICHUUUUUUUU!!!”. He easily defeated Greninja and I was the winner! “Guess you gain some skill after all”. Gladion said in defeat. Afterwards, Kiawe invited me to do his Fire Type Trial, and what an experience that would be!
