Writing Prompts: Owl City Bonus Prompt

by RenzFlintrock

RenzFlintrock I have started another prompt series with one of Owl City's albums, and last night's was Hello Seattle. This one isn't great, but here it is anyway.
It had been a long, long trip. I had gotten a bit seasick on the boat, and sworn to myself that I wouldn't get on another any time soon. Then we'd gotten off, and here we were. "Hello, Seattle," I thought to myself as I walked out into the cloudy afternoon. I met up with my cousin, and after grabbing an early dinner at his favorite local pizzeria, we went off to see the sights of downtown. I hopped in the passenger seat of his small Toyota and off we went. Towers and buildings all look the same to me, mostly, but some of them were pretty nice. We drove past a lot of the local attractions, and my cousin promised to take me to a few before I went home again. We cruised around town until after dark, and after seeing the evening glow of the city we began the drive back to my cousin's apartment. We stopped for ice cream cones on the way, just for fun. I got Chocolate, and she got Strawberry. We decided to finish them before we went back so we didn't get the car sticky. It was pretty new, after all. When we finally arrived at my cousin's place, we hung out for a while, and then I crashed on the sofa. I had enjoyed my first half-day, and I had several full days of fun to come.

I was sad to say "Goodbye, Seattle."
