I love a bunch of Poke'Mon, and I thought, "Why not make a work about it? My audience definitely wants to know places 10 through 2, because they know number 1 already." So let's do this!
Number 10 goes to Rayquaza. I love Rayquaza's design, and while I'm not the legendary-catching lunatic type, I still love this monster for what it is and its usefulness in battle, even if its Mega is banned in Ubers........
Number 9 goes to Charizard. This Poke'Mon was my first Kanto Starter (I picked it up in Y) and I would not have gotten it if I didn't choose Froakie. Kudos to you, buddy. I saw its Y Mega for the first time, and I thought, "W-wh- Y didn't this win best design on a Mega, like, ever?" It's so cool, and I thought the horns added something to it.
Number 8 goes to Blaziken. Blaziken was my original starter in ORAS and I loved it. Although I'm on the Sceptile Squad, my best friend chose Torchic, and since he's a year older than me, I followed in his footsteps. I love the adorableness of the Chick Poke'Mon, but something about Combusken is just... blech. But Blaziken still earns this spot.
Number 7 goes to the first Water type on the list, Blastoise. I've never used it, but when I tried it out on my friend's Y game, I adored it. I will pick Squirtle over Charmander any day, and nobody can change me. I love the idea of Squirtle, and Blastoise and Wartortle improved on that idea rather well. Tierno's Blastoise was a heatwarmer to me, and I loved how the two danced in sync. Still warms me up today.
Number 6 is given to Sceptile. I've used it before, and it's a monster, let me tell you. Grass-Dragon was a Sceptile thing (screw Alolan Exeggutor) and it was a reliable partner. Fast grass types were helpful in the early routes, and Treecko said, "You know what? Professor, make me a starter!" Never turn your back on Treecko's cuteness, or else.........
Number 5 is Decidueye. Sceptile won my favorite Grass Type until Sun and Moon was released. While Sceptile's a better battler, I have completed a run with Decidueye, and that was my only completed run with a Grass starter. I love its concept, and I feel happy when someone mentions the Rowlet line at all.
Number 4 is Yveltal. This beast was my first legendary ever, and it's so dang sick, yo! I love the Destruction Poke'Mon, and having it on my team made me feel like a monster. Just the derpy face of Calem, owning a beast able of killing you instantly. And its cry, oh my gosh. I love Yveltal's cry. Yass!
Number 3 goes to Marowak. I prefer the regular Form, although I've only used the Alola Form. This is my favorite Ground Type, and it's just so perfect. I love its two signature moves, Bone Club and Bonemarang. Bonemarang is my 4th favorite Ground move, so that explains it.
Number 2 is Greninja. Greninja was my first, and is my favorite, starter and Water Poke'Mon. My favorite stat is Speed, and Greninja's is out of the park if it's level 100. It will be over 300, even with a speed-lowering nature. I love Froakie and Frogadier (they're so cute) and my OC for a PRP has a Frogadier. Greninja just shows how awesome a frog ninja hybrid really is.
Number 1... well, I lied to you. It's Bidoof. I'm sorry. I made you think my favorite Poke'Mon is Lucario and- I'm just kidding. It is Lucario, obviously. I love its design, movepool, and Mega Evolution so much that I could write a song about it. While I prefer its Mega, the original never ceases to amaze me anyway. It's also my favorite type, Fighting, boosting the love I have for this wonderful Poke'Mon.
