Elytra

Elytra is a young changeling queen that was born from an egg with the hopes of restoring two completely separate hives from Chrysalis/Thorax's. In the roleplay we have, changelings expanded far into multiple hives and subspecies, much like bees have, and have since become separate from each other by great distances, though many followed suit of Thorax's and reformed, while others didn't, still being problematic pests of slightly smaller size. Elytra, in turn, is the result of two hives that had been wiped out, and is an attempt to carry her predecessors onward through a hybrid species.

Elytra, however, is only freshly born, and as a grubling, needs a lot of help to get on her feet. Thus, the surviving members of both hives, one named Gorbysa, and another Acacia, have taken to raising her until she is old enough to create her own hive. She has since been surviving well with the two, despite all of them being unreformed, and Elytra herself is rather cheerful for an unreformed changeling grub. Nevertheless, in due time and training, she will be a queen of great standing. But everything must start small.
