Dick and I pushed the wagon even faster, we were at the start of the hill when we jumped in, then all of a sudden…
Oh…wait…where did you come from? Sorry, I’m Isla! So I should probably start at the beginning of the story for you to understand whats going on…
“Hey Pumpkin, can you go get the mail?” My dad asked me.
“Sure, it does seem like your busy.” I said walking to the front door. He was holding our two year old brother who was crying about not being able to have candy for breakfast. I ran outside straight to the mailbox by the curb. It was a beautiful day outside, my yellow eyes sparkled in the light of the sun, and my black hair blew in the wind! When I got back inside with the mail, I quickly skimmed through it, and found a letter that was addressed to “The Day Siblings”. Which was meant for me, Matt, Dick and, Ruby. I darted up the stairs and into Matt and Dick’s room. They were playing go fish with the old deck of cards from when our older sister, Jessica, was born.
“Hey Isla do you have a 4?” Dick asked me,
“What? No! I have mail!” I replied showing it to them. I sat down next to Ruby and opened the letter which read:
Dear, Day Siblings
You have been invited to Billy’s 12th Birthday party!
Date: 6/18/19
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Slater Memorial Park

We had just been invited to our friend Billy Murphy’s birthday party!
“But wait…That’s today’s date!” Cried Ruby, so we ran back downstairs and into the kitchen to tell our dad.
“Don’t worry I have his present right here.” He told us.
Later that day, Jessica drove us to the park.
“See you later.” She said looking at her phone. We set off into the park and there were three different paths, right, left, and straight.
“The best way to go is always left, because they never expected you to go left!” Dick said leading us down the left path…
