Galarian Forms: Clunkell (Galarian Crustle Evo)

Mr.Munchlax Introducing Clunkell, the evolved form of Galarian Crustle (and the most steampunk thing I've ever made to date)

Clunkell
The Iron Body Pokémon
Type- Fire/Steel
Ability- Flame Body/Steelworker

The Crustle of the Galar region needed to build sturdier shells out of metal in order to protect themselves from their overly competitive predators. Over time, their shells became larger and melded with their exoskeletons, ultimately becoming part of their bodies. This caused Crustle to take on its evolved form, Clunkell.

"Clunkell are essentially walking furnaces. Their shells are fueled by an eternal flame that allows their bodies to move properly. Clunkell are highly territorial pokémon and will do whatever it takes to rid themselves of any potential threats to their homes. Their most notable defense mechanisms include rattling parts of their bodies or firing scorching hot flames from their shells.

If trained properly, Clunkell can be especially useful to trainers and repairmen due to their tough exteriors and the their skills in repairing broken machines. Competitive trainers often debate over which pokémon is better to use in battle: Galarian Crustle for its better type coverage and slightly higher speed, or Clunkell for its power and wider ranges of moves."

@Linkachu Thanks. I think this was one of the most detailed designs I’ve done in a while, so it was fun yet challenging :p

Aside from the steampunk elements, I actually based the design partly on how Dwebble & Crustle were originally going to be based on a ceramic furnace, and partly on furnaces you’d find in factories during the Industrial Revolution (though was harder to find ones from the UK than it was to find ones from the US :p )

Woah. That's incredibly detailed! It looks amazing design-wise, too.

Reading your description and loving the concept you've come up with. I'd definitely train this thing if it was real. ^^
