"When the Great Arceus was first born into the void that was once our world, everything changed. Life filled this void, springing straight from the magnificent body of the Great Arceus. First, Dialga and Palkia. The Deities of Time and Space. Then the Crooked Giratina, the Ruler of the Distortion World. Immediately after these Three Deities were created, a new Cosmic Trio was formed. Celestiala, Novarka, and Cometsus. The Star Pokemon, the Nova Pokemon, and the Comet Pokemon. Soon after, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf came into existence. They gave knowledge, emotion, and willpower to all beings in the universe. But they didn't distribute this knowledge, emotion, and willpower evenly between Celestiala, Novarka, and Cometsus. Uxie gave much of its knowledge to Cometsus, Mesprit gave its emotion to Celestiala, and Azelf gave its willpower to Novarka. But Novarka's intentions for its willpower were not noble. Novarka desired to prey on Celestiala. With its newfound willpower, Novarka was more determined than ever to do so. Novarka hunted Celestiala all over the universe, devouring the star dust that Celestiala left behind, turning them into supernovas.
"Cometsus, being the wise one, retreated to the newly formed Earth to wait until Novarka had calmed. While on Earth, Cometsus foresaw a battle between Groudon and Kyogre. Cometsus sought out Rayquaza, and convinced Rayquaza to intervene in the battle, and stop Groudon and Kyogre from destroying Earth. Cometsus returned to Earth to continue waiting for there to be peace in the cosmos. Eventually, Great Arceus fell into a deep slumber. Because of their deep connection to Arceus, Celestiala, Novarka, and Cometsus all fell into a slumber as well."
Vega, Kepler, and Hale all looked up at the elderly lady who had just told them the legend of the Ginga Cosmic Trio.
"That. Is pretty cool. Not gonna lie," Vega said, smiling. Her eyes were shining. She loved ancient legends.
"It's interesting," Kepler shrugged, "But if they're asleep, what's so important about them?"
"Please tell me that you did not say that Kep," Hale said, shaking his head.
"I'm just saying..." Kepler said, twisting his mouth into a strange smirk.
"Maybe it's just an old wive's tale," the woman shrugged, "What would I know? I'm just an old woman..."
The woman hobbled away.
"She's a good story teller," Hale smiled.
"What's her name again?" Kepler asked, "I remember seeing her around town before, but I never got her name."
"Dawn," Vega answered, "She's from Sinnoh, I think."
"Sinnoh? Cool," Hale said.
"Yeah, cool," Vega agreed, "Anyhow, what are you two doing today?"
"I've got an art camp with Van," Hale said. Van was his Smeargle.
"My mom is going to Cyrus City to see about getting a job at InfiniTech," Kepler said.
"Cyrus City?" Vega asked, awestruck, "And InfiniTech? Can I come?"
"I'll have to ask my mom," Kepler said, "But if she says yes, then, well, yes."
"You two have fun in Cyrus City," Hale said, "I'll be working on becoming the next Burgh."
"Good luck Hale," Kepler smiled, high-fiving his friend.
Kepler and Vega walked off, headed back to Kepler's apartment. They entered the small apartment, and Vega was hit with a rush of smells that always greeted visitors to Kepler's apartment. The smell of freshly baked quiche. Kepler's mom loved making quiche. It had been Kepler's father's favorite dish. Before the accident.
"The quiche smells wonderful," Vega said to Kepler's mother.
"Thank you Vega," Kepler's mother smiled, "If only Keppy was as kind and good natured as you are."
"You're hilarious Mom," Kepler said, shaking his head, "Anyways, Vega wanted to know if she could come with us to Cyrus City."
"Well, I'm going for a job interview, so it won't be all that exciting," Kepler's mother explained.
"I'll just sit in the lobby. I'm sure there's plenty to do there. I mean, it's InfiniTech."
"So what do you say, Mom?" Kepler asked.
"Alright. Vega can come."
