Aspen and Jax had been knocked out. Aspen woke up and looked around. The area didn't seem like it had changed, but it was eerily quiet. She shook Jax. "Wake up!" She said. Jax opened his eyes groggily.
"Wha...?" He murmured. Aspen looked around again.
"Let's get moving, we'd better get ready," She said. Jax nodded and grabbed his nunchucks, and the two set off.
They were near the city limits. Aspen gazed back at her home city. She was already homesick, and she hadn't even left yet! She sighed, then turned back around. She would probably never return to the place she had called home.
