Edward and Alex stood at opposing sides of the battlefield. Axe and Oshawott were excited to battle. Edward then called out to Axe.
"Axe use Dual Chop!"
"Dodge Oshawott and use Water Gun!" Alex cried in response.
Axe attacked but missed. Oshawott had a good aim and it successfully hit Axe however it wasn't very effective.
"Oshawott, use Fury Cutter,"
"Let it get up close," Edward said cautiously.
Oshawott was now about to attack Axe. Axe knew what Edward was planning so he had a smirk.
"Dragon Rage!" Edward yelled. On command, Axe fired the Dragon Rage. It was up close so it did more damage than usual. Oshawott fell to the ground.
"Oshawott!!! Can you still battle?" Alex asked in worry. The Oshawott got up and nodded in response.
"Great use Aqua Jet!" Alex called out. Alex then looked nervous. After observing Oshawott, Edward understood why.
Oshawott could not control the Aqua Jet. The Oshawott flew around the room until it crashed into the wall. The Oshawott had fainted.
"Uh, Good battle I guess?" Edward said in confusion.
He was so focused on his battle he forgot about the other battles. Edward and axe began observing everyone else. Lucy was playing with her Happiny which looked tired. Amber was arguing with this boy he didn't know. The boy had an Aron. Both looked like they were adventurous. Only 2 battles were still underway. Edward went to the one closest to him since it looked like it was going to end. Two girls were battling. One with a Mawile and the other with a Bagon.
"The girl with the Bagon is Ashley, the girl with the Mawile is Maia," Alex said behind him. Edward thanked him for the information.
"Now Bagon, Use take down!" Ashley called out. Bagon charged at Mawile
"Wrong move... Mawile, Fairy Wind.." Maia quietly replied. The Mawile blasted a gust of wind at the Bagon, stopping her from getting further and eventually fainting it.
"Good work! you are a great battler" Ashley replied with a big smile. Maia blushed, she only just saw the new kid and Alex watching.
"It was really nothing special..." Maia replied.
The Bell suddenly ringed.
Mr Carnago was recording the results down from every battle. He was making a tournament for the students.
"Okay, go to recess now, Next lesson I will have new battling partners." Mr Carnago called out to the students. Edward left the room in excitement. Axe left in curiosity.
