Route 208 wasn't very hard to cross. Just a bridge, some rocks and a few trainer which he easily wiped out with Splashy. Then of course there was Mount Coronet. Mount Coronet, was the biggest place in Sinnoh, and divided the region into two parts. To travel this region, he would have to travel through it mulitple times. "Let's go!" He shouted running inside.
When he entered the cave, the first thing he noticed was that it was dark. And cold. "Go Fuego!" Ry shots tossing out Fuego's pokeball. The pokeball hit a stalagmite and bounced onto the cavern floor, releasing the Monferno. "Okay Fuego, we're gonna have to use your tail flame for light," Ry explained. Fuego gave a nod, and they began to walk.
"Look out!" Shouted a boy running behind Ry. Ry turned to see a blonde boy with a Piplup running towards him. BLAM! The two trainer collided. "Sorry, I didn't mean to run into you, I'm Zak and this is Emperor." The blonde said standing up and offering a hand out for Ry. Ry took it and climbed up.
"My name is Ry Burst and this is Fugeo." Ry said smiling. "Well Ry, you look strong. Wanna have a battle?" Zak asked.
"Let's go!" Ry said tossing out Splashy's pokeball. "Poliwag!" Splashy exclaimed.
"Okay, go Frost!" Zak shouted tossing out his pokemon. A Snover apeared. "Okay use Razor Leaf!"
"Bubblebeam!"
Frost stretched his arms and fired mulitple sharp leaves in the direction of Splashy. Splashy opened his mouth to fired a flurry of bubbles to counter them. The leaves slashed through the bubbles and collided with Splashy, knocking him into the air.
"Doubleslap!" Ry comanded. Splashy winced after the leaves hit, and spun around, smacking the Snover in the head with his tail. He then swung again. This is where Zak had a chance.
"Ice Shard!" Frost's fist became surronded in a pale blue light, in which he used to clobber Splashy away. This was a special strategy they had developed.
"Splashy use Bubblebeam!" Ry shouted, when Splashy landed. The Poliwag fired a barrage of bubble in a wide arc at the Snover. The Snover promptly dodged the attack, and the blast hit a passing Graveler.
"Graveler!" It angrily cried and rolled away. "What do you think that was abo-" but Zak was cut short by a rumbling. Then a group of Geodude and Graveler entered the cavern lead by Golem. "Golem!" It cried begging to shake. The other rock types in the group folllowed suit. The cave began to shake, and Zak shouted, "Run!" Then Zak took off past them towards the exit to head to Oreburgh. Ry followed suit, and ran with his pokemon towards the exit.
"Golem!" The Golem shouted firing a Hyper Beam attack right above their heads. The duo and their Pokémon, narrowly avoided the falling rocks. Zak lept out of the cave with his team, while Ry drew nearer to the exit.
Then the ground in front of Ry broke open revealing and angry looking Onix. "Onix!" It shouted angry about being woken up. It swung it's tail which was coated in white energy, by using an Iron Tail attack at the group. Ry jumped out of the way and dashed out the exit, with Fuego and Splashy. They didn't stop running, until they met up with Zak, in the Oreburgh City Pokemon Center.
'Hey, you made it," Zak said laughing. Ry joined in, relived about having survived that chaos.
