It was a calm, sunny morning as Tommy was on his way to the new school. He was worried and didn't really know what he had to expect from that place. As he was on his way to Meadow Academy. He was on his bike, as he didn't have many things to take with him, just as much as his backpack fits. Heartstorm was about to arrive at one of those famous schools that make you some IQ 1000 guy. Although he didn't know why they chose him, it was a chance for him to help his mom and everyone back home.
He arrived after a while to a school ground, the building was huge, and although it had a simple look, there was a lot of high tech around... Example? Steel Doors, they didn't have the handle and when he arrived he looked at them for a while. He didn't know what to do now.
"Oh, just say your name and it will open" said a mysterious voice. A young man with a weird clothing taste smiled and waved at the boy. "Give it a try, I will wait here for the last person"
"Umm... Thomas Heartstorm!" said Tommy and suddenly doors opened in front of him. He said 'thank you' to a man and entered. There were already quite a bit of people, "Ummm... Hello"
"Hi there! Welcome to the most boring place in the entire world! Meadow's waiting room! Come on, don't be shy!" a boy with red hair said and clapped a place next to him on the sofa. Tommy walked up and sat down. He greeted the boy, who's name was Victor and Thomas slowly got his first friend!
Jaiden meanwhile was still on her way to Meadow academy with a private car ride provided from the school. She wasn't exactly sure why or how she managed to be selected to attend a big and fancy school without even applying for it. The letter she received said at least that she got selected because of her athletic background and achievements, though it's a bit odd still since she hadn’t done much competing, nor in a while either. The car drive to her school was silent, though luckily Jaiden had her phone and headphones to at least make the car drive a little less boring.
After a good while the car stopped and the driver told her that they arrived at their destination. Jaiden grabbed her bags where she had packed all she needed and walked out of the car. Immediately when she stepped out and shut the car door her ride drove away. She turned around to face a big, but minimalistically designed building with some high tech looking things dotted around. She walked up to the big metal door and beside it stood a strangely clothed adult. The steel door didn't have a handle on it and only had a small pad with a single button on it. Jaiden was a bit confused about what to do, but then the adult next to the door spoke. "Oh and you should be the last student to arrive. Welcome to Meadow Academy. To Open the door you simply press the button and tell your name," The strangely clothed man said to her. Seeing as the man expected her to do it she complied. "Um.. Jaiden Summers.." She said while pressing the button beside the door and like magic the doors opened to reveal a lobby with similar aged teens as herself sitting inside. She stepped inside and saw how some of the fellow teens greeted her or just simply acknowledged her by lifting their head to see her. The strange man outside followed behind her inside the lounge
"Oi, new girl, welcome in the club of nerds-to-be! Come here, we don't have the entire day!" said Viktor with a happy tone in his voice and waved to Jaiden to come closer. "My name is Viktor and my new friend over there is Thomas!" said Viktor. Tommy waved shyly to Jaiden with a small blush on his cheeks, but he couldn't tell why he was blushing. That feeling.. Was so unusual. Before he said anything, the weird adult appeared.
"Welcome everyone, my name is Vitalio and I am the deputy Headmaster of our school, all of you are lucky as we chose you for a special program of education. We know about your talents and we will help you only grow better, soon you will be better than any other humans by far. Your lives from now on, in Meadow Academy will change... " He stopped for a second and added "...for forever" After a while Tommy noticed as Viktor fell to the ground, unconscious. He was.... Sleeping? Before Thomas could do anything he started to feel dizzy... He ran up to the mysterious adult, but fell at the ground unconscious.
Jaiden was about to approach the friendly red head, but then the strange man started the school introduction speech or whatever and she stopped in her tracks to listen. As his short little speech ended she could feel the air getting heavier to breathe and her eyes shutting. Jaiden heard as the other teens collapsed on the ground too and heard someone try to sprint forward, but then collapsing too.
Jaiden woke up and in a panic, shot up into a sitting position and then immediately started to feel her head pounding. Her vision was still a bit fuzzy, but when she finally came to it she noticed her surroundings had completely changed. None of the other teens or Vitalio were around and she was alone in what appeared to be a big hospital looking room, though the room had some items that made it seem a bit homier. The room had the bed where she woke up from, a work desk and a simple chair, the luggage she had brought with her though, the bag didn't seem as full as before and then on the 'not so pleasant' side the room was shut close with a reinforced steel door that seemed like it wasn't capable opening from the inside, two security cameras monitoring from two corners of the room.
Jaiden was so confused. Where was she? What happened? Where are the others? What's going to happen to her? But a voice coming from somewhere in the room interrupted her train of thought. "Welcome to Meadow academy, or as it's really called, the Bahamut Facility. You may be wondering what has happened to you and where you may be, but don't worry. You are in safe hands. You have been chosen to participate in a project and experiment where you've now received a super human ability and you will now be training and honing your skills. We are deeply sorry for our deceptive strategies. We advise you to prepare yourself as the guards will escort you to your first examination. And one last time, welcome." The voice through the speakers explained.

She wasn't sure what to think or do, but decided to comply as she was afraid what this Bahamut facility would do to her if she didn't. She looked closer at herself and noticed that she wasn't wearing the clothes she did when she arrived and was now clothed in a plain white t-shirt and shorts. She still wasn't trusting this facility
"Is this real? This seems like straight out of some weird messed up superhero story.." She thought to herself, as she got up from her bed. She noticed that her hoodie and other clothes were on the chair by the desk. She tried to get some privacy and tried to hide from the cameras while changing her clothes. After she was done changing she decided to look through her duffel bag to check she still had everything, but as she suspected all of her electronic devices were gone. She frowned as she realized her property had been taken away from her and also any way of contacting the outside world. She wasn't sure when the guards or whatever would come and get her, but as soon as she was about to go and sit on her bed again the big steel door opened to reveal two guard looking people head to toe in futuristic, high tech, sci-fi looking gear and armor. Without a word from neither of them Jaiden walked up to them and the steel door shut behind her. She noticed that the guards were carrying some weaponry and a big futuristic looking utility flashlight with them, which confused the girl.
"Follow us," one of the guards said and both of them started marching and Jaiden, not wanting to anger them, just nodded and followed them. She walked across hallways with similar looking steel doors to her own room keeping the rooms shut and Jaiden wondered if the other teens were being kept there or if there was anything inside.
After a while of walking through sterile hallways and stopping every now and then to wait for the security doors to open they finally seemed to reach their destination. A door opened to reveal a rather pleasant looking lounge area where few teens were already waiting. Jaiden walked in with the two guards being left outside and the door shutting behind her. She awkwardly waved and the other teens greeted her back. The atmosphere was very stiff and awkward and Jaiden wasn't sure how to lift the mood really. "Sooo.. Who are you guys..?" she said trying to lessen the silence "The same as you. Apparently a teen that basically got kidnapped and was presumably been forced to receive some kind of superpower," A girl with short-ish brown hair replied, "This has to be some sort of a sick joke or something," she continued.
Tommy also woke up in the weird room, secured and he didn't know anything. As time passed he changed his clothes and noticed that his electronic devices weren't with him... Well, unlucky. He didn't like this place and he wondered what happened to Viktor and others. After the announcement of him being in Bahamut Facility, he thought someone has a terrible sense of humor and waited till someone opened the door.
"You are the last one" that was the first thing he heard, a femine voice of one of the 4 guards that came for him, all of them were wearing some high-tech weapons and armour, with two of them having their gear more outfitted against electricity. He followed them to a quite pleasant big room, where other teens were waiting. Viktor arrived here earlier, but he seemed tired and not in such good mood. He cheered up when he saw Thomas. They greeted each other and when Viktor noticed two girls, with one girl being the same one which Viktor invited to meet with them. They walked up to them. Tommy blushed slightly again as they approached the girls and was a bit quiet.
"It's definitely a prank, you will see. Deputy Headmaster will jump out of nowhere and say "Haha, we managed to prank you!" said Viktor with his a bit playful and cheering voice. Tommy couldn't help but chuckle on that prank idea.
"Hmh.. Well the scenario seems unlikely, but the scenario that this supposedly Bahamut facility has presented us seems even more unlikelier," the short brown haired girl added. Jaiden looked over when she heard two more teens join the conversation. She recognized them from the lobby before they got knocked out and now when she looked around the lounge she also recognized most of the other teens from there too. "Were all of you guys in the lobby too before we got knocked out?" she asked with her eyes darting from teen to teen.
"If we were to trust what this facility has told us as truth, it would make sense to keep us together like a batch of experiments to keep track of.." the brown haired girl said, slightly mumbling to herself. Jaiden's expression went blank. She was probably not the only one who didn't know what to make of this situation.
Suddenly another door in the lounge area opened up with one of the speakers starting to speak, "Welcome. This will be your first official examination. Please step inside this room so we can begin," Jaiden and the other teens did as they were told and went inside the newly opened room. It revealed itself to be some kind of a school gym resembling room with two doors on each labeled as changing rooms.
"If you wish to change your clothing to something more suitable for exercise you may go one at a time to the changing rooms and change to proper clothing for these next few activities," the speaker explained once more. Jaiden just took off her hoodie to reveal a t-shirt and placed her oversized hoodie by the changing rooms. She then waited for the others to ready up too. Once everyone was ready the speakers started to talk.
"First up you'll face off an obstacle course to test your physical capabilities," and just as the voice ended it's sentence the room started to shift to reveal the before mentioned obstacle course. There were quite a lot of parts to it ranging from a small tunnel to crawl through, a wall climbing wall to go over, monkeybars and more. "You'll do it one at a time and when you step over the starting line the timer starts," the voice continued and a part of one of the walls flipped over to reveal a giant timer screen.
Jaiden took the time to stretch a bit and watched as some of the teens in the group had already attempted the course and ended up with quite mediocre times. When she felt ready she walked up to the starting line and took a ready position and then sprinted away. Her legs still feeling tired she tried her best on the course, but she was sure she wasn't going to do too well immediately after the weird procedure she presumably went through. She didn’t perform too well on parts that required her to be dexterous, but her upper body felt great and somehow managed to do very well on parts that required her upper body strength. She looked up at the timer when she finally finished it and it displayed her time. She was sure if they were ever to do this again she'd perform better since her body seemed to ache after whatever the facility did to her.
She watched as the brown haired girl she talked to before ran the course after her. Jaiden assumed she didn't feel too good either as her performance also seemed lackluster and after her went a scrawny looking light blonde boy who didn't seem to perform too well either, as he even fell over in a few places of the course, but did alright on the strength parts.
Tommy listened to voice as for now and changed to a more... Suitable outfit, a tank top and short trousers. He went up to the obstacle course after the teen before him finished and prepared himself mentally, then rushed into action. He didn't really remember much, he just followed the flow as he did well on the dexterity parts and he did a bit better at the strength parts although it was quite hard. He did well and finished at time a well over average time. He looked at the youngest of all teenagers here and he did surprisingly well, having probably the best time and Viktor who was probably around second or third best.
"Now then. All of you are going to go into separate rooms where we'll test your new abilities out. All of you will receive someone who'll give you instructions and monitor that everything goes well," the voice explained and Jaiden did as was instructed and waved to her peers as she walked to her own room. Similar to the room before this was quite large and had the same sterile hospital vibe as all the other rooms she's seen so far. The door shut behind her and Jaiden could hear another voice speak to her through the speakers in the room. "Welcome Jaiden. We know that this situation seems highly unlikely, but trust us when we say that you've actually been chosen by our special program and received extraordinary abilities. Now to test it out if we've succeeded," the voice said in a calm manner. "Special program my..," Jaiden mumbled to herself in a sarcastic tone with the last part being unintelligible

A tall and lanky man was walking by himself through some hallways in the facility and opened one of the doors with his special key card combined with his fingerprint. The door opened to reveal a group of scientists looking over a multitude of screens with their new experiments being displayed on there and, who were about to test their abilities. One of the scientists turned around to see who entered the room and flinched in surprise to see their boss standing behind them. "Oh Hello sir! Uhm.. We're about to see how successful we were with the newest generation of Titans."
"Very well. If you don't mind I'm also going to join you in spectating them." The man said in a calm and professional manner.
Jaiden stood waiting for her instructions to use her supposed new super powers. The floor in the room opened up and revealed a tennis ball shooter.
"The instructions are simple. First you'll warm up by trying to conjure a small force field ball. Hold out your hand and try to imagine a small ball in front of your hand. Jaiden rolled her eyes a bit, but did as she was told. She stretched out her arm and tried to imagine a small ball on top of her hand and like magic, one conjured on her hand. Jaiden's eyes widened in surprise and awe. So everything that the facility said to them seemed to check out. Her eyes glued to her small force field ball she got really startled when the voice spoke out again and her concentration broke and the small ball disappeared into the air.
"Good. Now you'll have to try and conjure one big enough to protect yourself from being hit by the tennis balls that are gonna be shot out from the machine there," the speaker explained. Jaiden heard the machine starting up and took on a defensive stance and tried to picture a big sphere half sphere surrounding her and it immediately started to appear just in time for the machine to start shooting tennis balls. Jaiden watched as the balls bounced off her force field and she got no side effects from it and was super easy to do. Soon enough the machine shut off and disappeared into the ground and the entrance to her room opened up again.
"Well done! You may go to the lounge again and wait for the others before you get your next assignment," the voice praised the girl. The half sphere dissolved and Jaiden made her way back to the lounge area where few other teens were already waiting. She greeted the two who were sitting there and she decided to go and sit beside the short brown haired girl.
She looked at the girl, who had a bewildered look on her face, probably still taking in their situation.
"Hey. How did you fair in there?" Jaiden asked with a curious look on her face.
"Hm? Oh. I did well at first, but when they started up the tennis ball machine I panicked and failed," the other girl explained, "By the way my name is Katie. We're probably going to see each other a lot, so I thought it would be good to know each other's names," she continued
"Oh. Well nice to meet you Katie! I'm Jaiden."

Viktor walked out from his room, slightly smiling. It seemed that only a few were left in the testing rooms. One of them being his new pal, Thomas.

I managed to do great with physical stuff!" he said proud of himself as if he just finished a normal school task. He did it of course to raise moods.

Her legs still feeling tired she tried her best on the course, but she was sure she wasn't going to do too well immediately after the weird procedure she presumably went through. She didn’t perform too well on parts that required her to be dexterous, but her upper body felt great and somehow managed to do very well on parts that required her upper body strength. She looked up at the timer when she finally finished it and it displayed her time. She was sure if they were ever to do this again she'd perform better since her body seemed to ache after whatever the facility did to her.
She watched as the brown haired girl she talked to before ran the course after her. Jaiden assumed she didn't feel too good either as her performance also seemed lackluster and after her went a scrawny looking light blonde boy who didn't seem to perform too well either, as he even fell over in a few places of the course, but did alright on the strength parts.
Tommy listened to voice as for now and changed to a more... Suitable outfit, a tank top and short trousers. He went up to the obstacle course after the teen before him finished and prepared himself mentally, then rushed into action. He didn't really remember much, he just followed the flow as he did well on the dexterity parts and he did a bit better at the strength parts although it was quite hard. He did well and finished at time a well over average time. He looked at the youngest of all teenagers here and he did surprisingly well, having probably the best time and Viktor who was probably around second or third best.
"Now then. All of you are going to go into separate rooms where we'll test your new abilities out. All of you will receive someone who'll give you instructions and monitor that everything goes well," the voice explained and Jaiden did as was instructed and waved to her peers as she walked to her own room. Similar to the room before this was quite large and had the same sterile hospital vibe as all the other rooms she's seen so far. The door shut behind her and Jaiden could hear another voice speak to her through the speakers in the room. "Welcome Jaiden. We know that this situation seems highly unlikely, but trust us when we say that you've actually been chosen by our special program and received extraordinary abilities. Now to test it out if we've succeeded," the voice said in a calm manner. "Special program my..," Jaiden mumbled to herself in a sarcastic tone with the last part being unintelligible
Meanwhile
A tall and lanky man was walking by himself through some hallways in the facility and opened one of the doors with his special key card combined with his fingerprint. The door opened to reveal a group of scientists looking over a multitude of screens with their new experiments being displayed on there and, who were about to test their abilities. One of the scientists turned around to see who entered the room and flinched in surprise to see their boss standing behind them. "Oh Hello sir! Uhm.. We're about to see how successful we were with the newest generation of Titans."
"Very well. If you don't mind I'm also going to join you in spectating them." The man said in a calm and professional manner.
Jaiden stood waiting for her instructions to use her supposed new super powers. The floor in the room opened up and revealed a tennis ball shooter.
"The instructions are simple. First you'll warm up by trying to conjure a small force field ball. Hold out your hand and try to imagine a small ball in front of your hand. Jaiden rolled her eyes a bit, but did as she was told. She stretched out her arm and tried to imagine a small ball on top of her hand and like magic, one conjured on her hand. Jaiden's eyes widened in surprise and awe. So everything that the facility said to them seemed to check out. Her eyes glued to her small force field ball she got really startled when the voice spoke out again and her concentration broke and the small ball disappeared into the air.
"Good. Now you'll have to try and conjure one big enough to protect yourself from being hit by the tennis balls that are gonna be shot out from the machine there," the speaker explained. Jaiden heard the machine starting up and took on a defensive stance and tried to picture a big sphere half sphere surrounding her and it immediately started to appear just in time for the machine to start shooting tennis balls. Jaiden watched as the balls bounced off her force field and she got no side effects from it and was super easy to do. Soon enough the machine shut off and disappeared into the ground and the entrance to her room opened up again.
"Well done! You may go to the lounge again and wait for the others before you get your next assignment," the voice praised the girl. The half sphere dissolved and Jaiden made her way back to the lounge area where few other teens were already waiting. She greeted the two who were sitting there and she decided to go and sit beside the short brown haired girl.
She looked at the girl, who had a bewildered look on her face, probably still taking in their situation.
"Hey. How did you fair in there?" Jaiden asked with a curious look on her face.
"Hm? Oh. I did well at first, but when they started up the tennis ball machine I panicked and failed," the other girl explained, "By the way my name is Katie. We're probably going to see each other a lot, so I thought it would be good to know each other's names," she continued
"Oh. Well nice to meet you Katie! I'm Jaiden."
Meanwhile
Viktor walked out from his room, slightly smiling. It seemed that only a few were left in the testing rooms. One of them being his new pal, Thomas.
As Thomas wasn't here at all, the boy decided to approach two girls from earlier and he sat next to a shortie with brown hair. "Hello, you two! How was your first PE lesson? I managed to do great with physical stuff!" he said proud of himself as if he just finished a normal school task. He did it of course to raise moods.
"Oh.. Sorry that I didn't introduce myself earlier. My name is Viktor! A friend of mine is the only one that didn't finish or so it seems"
"I'm Jaiden and this here is Katie," said Jaiden and introduced herself and her newly acquired acquaintance, but before Jaiden could explain how she did on her exam..
Booooooommm!!!
Viktor almost fell from his chair as he heard a powerful explosion. The lights went out, but the spare generator turned on and dim red lights lit up. .
"Warning, Subject Lightbolt Overheat! Subject Lightbolt Overheat!"
Guards ran to Thomas' room and Viktor stood up and ran up to there to see what’s happening, but then he was stopped.
"You aren't allowed there, Blaze."
"Like hell I will care! What’s happening over there"
"Don’t worry. The situation is under control and your friend is safe. If you don't want to get hurt then go back to your place! All of you go back to your places!"
Jaiden flinched in surprise when she heard a giant explosion coming from the gymnasium. She rushed together with Katie and Viktor, but was stopped by the guards and instructed to return to their seats. Worried for her fellow peer Jaiden decided to stay there together with Viktor and wait for what'll happen next with Katie walking back to the others re-assuring that everything will be alright and that the guards were there to help the teen who was overheating.
