As we left off our heroes had left Cyllage City almost quicker than they arrived. The journey now takes place in a long stretch of forest that divides Cyllage City from Shalour City. Shalour City is home to incredible views and the third Gym. This is where our heroes are now heading as we speak. Looming ahead of them in the dark forest, however, is the Forbidden Chateau. Known for it's ghostly happenings and terrifying past, our heroes may be heading towards an adventure of their lifetime. Either that or.... they're tragic demise. Enjoy 
Oh btw, Elijah caught a Litleo. I guess that's pretty cool.
After pretty much walking the rest of the way our heroes decided to finally set up camp for the night. After a good night's rest the two trainers were ready to continue their adventure in hopes of winning their third Gym Badge. As Ava was finishing packing her thing Elijah held Litleo in his arms he fed him through a bottle he always carried around for emergencies. Litleo was very, very young and couldn't chew real food yet, so he inevitably had to eat from a bottle.
Litleo downed the whole bottle in a matter of minutes. "Someone was hungry..." Elijah said. Litleo smiled in return showing his hunger was satisfied. Elijah set Litleo on the ground so it could run and get some exercise while they waited for Ava to get ready. Litleo waddled around as it caught a scent in the air. It seemed to be coming from Ava's tent. The Pokemon stop abruptly not knowing if it should enter. Apparently it made up its mind because it burst through the plastic flaps of the tent and scared Ava half to death. The smell of perfume snuck out from the gaps of the open tent. "Of course she's the one to put on perfume in the middle of the woods." Elijah thought.
Ava stepped outside cuddling the little Pokemon in her arms. She stayed up all night with the Pokemon as she could not get over his cuteness. "I'll claim that as payback for the scare yesterday." Elijah proposed. "Sure, but this scare wasn't all that bad. It was actually pretty sweet." Ava replied motioning toward the small Pokemon. Elijah sighed, "Whatever..." He muttered. He returned Litleo to its Pokeball which saddened Ava as she really liked him. Scyther was standing patiently as always awaiting his master's command to continue the traveling. Since Scyther chose not to remain in his Pokeball he typically slept in trees every chance he got as that's how he lived before he met Elijah.
Scyther wondered how long Elijah and him had been together. He could hardly remember a time when they weren't together. He pledged his powers and skills to Elijah as he wouldn't be alive if it weren't for him. But, that's a story for another time and day. Our heroes along with Scyther by their side set off once again in hopes to reach Shalour City in the next few days.
Hours past and there was still no sign of being close to reaching the end of the forest. Both trainers were beginning to grow tired, sore, and grumpy. None more so than Ava. "I can't believe I let you take me through this forest." Ava said exhaustedly. "I wouldn't say I forced you. I saw it as you more willingly came along." Elijah replied. Ava opened her eyes and whacked Elijah in the arm. Elijah laughed as he held his arm in pain, "It was only a joke!" Ava sighed, "Whatever. We need to find a spot to set up for the night." As if on cue, storm clouds began forming above their heads and rain poured down like water out of a faucet.
The two trainers opened their personal umbrellas and ran for some kind of shelter. As if on cue again, Ava noticed a rickety, old building out of the corner of her eye. "Over there!" she yelled pointing to the building. Elijah nodded and they were off. Scyther bust through the door followed by Ava and finally Elijah. Our heroes stopped at the center of the gigantic entry room out of breath. This wasn't a house that was for sure. "This is a mansion..." spoke Elijah out of breath.
The door slammed behind our heroes. Ava jumped in fright. "It was probably... just the wind..." Elijah spoke reassuringly. "I hope you're right." Ava replied. She wasn't so sure about that. "I'm not taking any chances." She continued. She tossed her two Pokeballs into the air, out came Fennekin and Eevee. Elijah followed in her lead, out came Froakie and Litleo, Scyther was already standing with them. Our heroes scanned the area, Ava noticed something. "The lights are on, but no one is here..." She said mildly concerned at this point. "I noticed that too..." Elijah replied.
"HELLO?? IS ANYONE THERE??" Elijah shouted. "What are you doing?" Ava shouted quietly. "Seeing if anyone is here. What does it looked like?" He replied. She sighed, "He's going to get me killed..." She thought. There was no reply. "Guess no one's home." Elijah said confidently. Just then, the floor opened up beneath them.
