Adventures of Super: The prologue of destiny

by Super Fang

Super Fang Attention! This work is a project I am working and should not be read as canon to the Pokémon universe. All Characters and place, except for guest appearances of canoned characters and the mention of other regions, items, and characters, are mine. Please enjoy the great adventure of Super and her friends as she ventures off to be the very best like no one ever was.
“Thanks for helping us all these years.” A group of pokémon in a town untouched by man were gathered at the square with some sort of portal. Near it is an unusual Pikachu with black and purple tipped fur, wings of a dragon, and a scarf and witch hat. She turns to another Pikachu and a Riolu. “Glad I can help. Hey Lucas, Riolu. Take care of everyone, ok?” “Will do, Super. And e-mail us or send a letter of your adventure once in awhile.” The Riolu replied. Super nods her head and gives the two fist bumps before heading to the portal where a Dragonite was waiting for her. Tears in eyes, all the pokémon waved goodbye. “I'll miss you all.” She says. As she was about to enter the portal, “Wait! You forgot something!” A Wigglytuff and Chatot was approaching her. Chatot held out his hand with a technical machine. “I dunno if you will become human but at least take this just in case you don't.” Super grabs the technical machine. “It's Hidden Power. May help you someday when you find your true potential.” Said the Wigglytuff. “Thank you. I'll use it well.” Super said after giving them a hug.

“It's time to go. I can't hold this portal open forever.” Palkia warned Super. “Alright. Alright. Let's go Dragonite. You're gonna love my home world.” Dragonite nods and with one last goodbye from everyone, Dragonite and Super walks through the portal. When they reached the other side, they ended up in a forest somewhere. Super looks at her arms and legs. “Seems I was right. I did become human again.” “I'm not to sure.” Dragonite points to her Pikachu like ears and tail. She also has her dragon wings. “You're right. Maybe I can still learn Hidden Power.” She smiles. She is glad that she can use her parting gift given by her friends. Super was a human female with black hair, light skin, and about 5’1”. “Well first you should put these on.” Dragonite handed her the clothes she had when first entering the world she just left. She grabbed the clothes and smiled. “Thanks. Forgotten about that. Being a pokémon and all.” There was a sweet smell to her clothes. “Smells like Peacha berries. Mama Kangaskhan sure is nice to wash these.” She puts on her clothes, which are black shirt and skirt, long boots and a belt with various compartments, but felt a bit uncomfortable. “You might want to cut holes for your tail and wings.” Dragonite chuckled. “Don't make fun of me, dummy.” She gave him a light punch to the shoulder.

“Anyways. We should get going. Everyone is waiting. It has been so long. I wonder if I'll recognize everyone.” “Nervous?” She looks at Dragonite and smiles. “To be honest, yes. I have been gone for five years. Wasn't till we found that abandon human base and got the computer working to send an e-mail to everyone that I was able to let them know I'm alive.” She takes a deep breath and calms herself. “Right. Let's go, Dragonite.” “Right behind you.” They started to head through the forest though it seemed unfamiliar to her. “I think we are lost. I can't completely remember this place. Though I do remember there being stories of people coming to this forest and never to return. Probably some truth to that considering what happened to me.” She stops and looks around. Then four figures approaches her. Two are human and two are pokémon. The pokémon are a blue eyed Lunatone and a blue Porygon-Z. “Jeez. You were never good at directions.” The female human joked. “Must have been a pain to the guild to keep you from getting lost.” Said the male human. “Wait. I know those voices. Luna! Zero!” As she was surprised to see two of her childhood friends, she runs up and hugs them.

“I missed you guys so much. Especially you, Zero. You look…..edgy.” Zero, who is 6’0”, light skinned, and has blond hair, was wearing a black jacket and white T-shirt, blue jeans with chains, and a black ski cap. He looked confused. “Edgy? I just like this style.” “Keep telling yourself that. You just want to be the cool guy.” Luna, who is 5’6”, light skinned, and brownish hair, is wearing a blue tank top, pink skirt, long blue boots, and a large pink scarf. “So. Ready to come home or are you going to walk in circles all day?” Luna joked with a smile. Super smiles back then looks at Dragonite. “Let's get going.” Five minutes later, the group arrives at Yew Town, home of the trio. At the border was the towns folks with a big banner spelling “Welcome Home” Super smiled and had tears in her eyes. Her five year journey home was finish. But a new Journey awaits around the corner.

The world of pokémon is a mysterious yet fascinating place where new trainers travel and explore. Along doing so they will meet and capture new pokemon and battle to become the very best. Each region has gyms and trainers must defeat eight leaders in order to progress to the league championship where they face the elite four. All trainers starts their journey at the age of ten and choose between a fire, water, or grass starter. But for our heroes, they have a special case. Zero Box. Age of 18, was given a blue Porygon on his tenth birthday by his mother, Professor Box. He refused to go on his journey without his friends and waited. A smart and strong young man. Capable of solving problems with force and tactics. Knowledge and power is his yin and yang. Luna Rose. Age of 16. Hyperactive and cheerful, she never lets a friend be sad. She got lost in a cave on her trip to Johto when she was six, where she met her Lunatone who was also lost. Ever since they have became inseparable. She is an enthusiast about space. Super Fang. Age of 15. Five years ago, she was exploring the forest alone and gotten lost. That is when she fell into a portal that lead her to another world in a town a solely pokémon. She also became one herself. After getting help from the locals, she joined the exploration guild in order to find her way home. It wasn't till they found a hidden abandon human lab that she was able to contact her family and friends. Now that she is home, she can start her journey tomorrow on the first of April.

“Welcome home, dear.” Super’s mother hugged her daughter tightly. Filled with the joy that her only child is safe. “Mom! To tight. I may be able to beat Rayquaza but I need to breath.” Her mother lessens the hug and Super hugged back. Only then people started to noticed her ears and tail. “Hey. What are those?” She asked, pointing to Super’s pokémon parts. “Oh, that? I guess I'm part pokémon now. Which reminds me.” Super takes out the Technical Machines. “I wonder if I can learn this. It's Hidden Power. I never used one before so I don't know how to learn from it.” Everyone laughed and Super looked around confused. There are two types a machines that are in form of discs that pokémon can learn from. Technical Machines, which can be learned and forgotten, and Hidden Machines, which can not be forgotten. A woman in a lab coat approaches Super. “You should really pay attention in class. It is a video for pokémon to learn from. Though this is interesting.” She observes the disk. “This is one of the originals Silph.co made. It's a one time used and not compatible with current pokédexs.”

Prof. Box. Age 37. 6’2” Yew Towns finest pokémon researcher and scientist. Her role in life is to study the lives of pokémon and allow new trainers to start their journey through the region. “So I can't learn from it.” Super gave a disappointed look. “Actually. You can. The from Treasure Town are able to use it without pokédexs, correct?” “Yes. But I never got to see it nor did I bother to use one.” Prof. Box smiled and pats Super on the head with the disk. Energy seemed to have flown from the disk and into Super. “There. Now you can use Hidden Power. Now come on. You got a lot of catching up to do.” Super smiled and thanked her before going off to celebrate her return home. The younger children seemed to be interested in Dragonite, there was cake and party, and several late birthday gifts from missing five birthdays. “This is for you.” Prof. Box handed Super a rectangular box with white pokéball design on red wrapping and a round gift in gold wrapping.

Super open the gifts. The rectangular one was a pokédex, a device used to document and record pokémon data. The second gift was a pokéball, a device used to capture and befriend pokémon. There are many types of pokéballs. Normal ones has a red top and white bottom. But this one seemed a bit different. It had a gold top and silver bottom and a strange emblem on the front top. “It's my latest design. I call it the Boxball. Now that I say that out loud, I realize how contradicting that sound. Anyways. It has a better catch rate than an Ultraball. Almost as good as a Masterball. I have five more for you. I'll get them ready tomorrow when you leave on your journey.” Super hugged the professor. “Thanks. And I know just how to use this one. Hey, Dragonite. Up for a battle. This is also a good way to test out my new move.” Dragonite smirks and crossed his arms. “Yeah, I'm not losing to you. Remember I was the one who helped ya when you got caught by those Sableyes.” “But you were still the one who also got beaten by them.” Super replied. “Just remember to free your wings and tail.” Dragonite said. Super nodded and had holes cut in her clothes. They both headed towards the center of town where a small dirt arena resides.

Super and Dragonite got themselves ready for the fight. Everyone gathered as they are about to witness their power. The two stared each other down. The tension could be felt in the air. Prof. Box took the center edge of the arena to be the referee. “Are you two ready?” She looks at the two with her hand raised in the air. The wind whistles as it blows around everyone. Prof. Box throws down her hand yelling “Go!” and the two charged at each other at extreme speeds, meeting in the center with their initial attacks. Super threw a punch from the right and Dragonite blocked it. Dragonite smiled and opened his mouth, using Draco Meteor at close range. Super, who was quick on her feet, jumped back and used protect. It nearly failed due to the short time of using it and the contact of Draco Meteor. Super then took the the sky and used Dragon Breath on Dragonite. Dragonite dodges and uses Dragon rush on Super after taking to the air as well. Super countered with Thunder Punch, knocking each other back.

Neither was holding back at all. A storm seemed to have whipped up from the effects of two powerful beings clashing in combat. There move usage and martial arts were quick and fierce. Dragonite manages to grab Super from behind and slams her from the sky to the ground, causing a big crater. Super jumped back up and landed on the other side of the arena. “Alright then. I guess it's time to use this.” She focused and readies herself. Power flowed into her as she was about to use her new move. “HIDDEN POWER!” She lunges at Dragonite and her speed was faster than before. Dragonite could dodge in time so he went at her with Dragon Rush. An explosion occurred, blowing dust everywhere and clearing the dark clouds. The audience had to cover their eyes. It to a few seconds for the dust to settle. When it did, both fighters were at the edges of the arena with backs to each other. They were breathing heavily, trying to stay conscious, but neither of them are able to stay standing. At the same time they fell. They gave it their all.

“It's a draw!” Prof. Box yelled. And the townsfolk helped the two up. They were in awe. Never have they experienced a battle like that. Super and Dragonite shook hands and the crowd cheered. “Seems we drawed again.” Dragonite smiles. Super smiles back and holds out the pokéball. “Well not really. I worn you out enough to use this on you.” Dragonite smirked and nodded his head. “Next time I'll win. But for now, I need rest.” He touches the button on the center of the ball. It opens up and a red light engulfs him. Then he disappeared and the ball closes. It rocks for a bit then a click was heard. She had caught her first pokémon. “Rest well, friend.” She puts the on her belt. She yawned and noticed it was sun set. “That was a fight. I never knew a pokémon could use fighting techniques and pokémon moves at the same time like that. Saves you a lot of power.” Prof. Box stated. “You should rest up. It's a big day for you tomorrow and you don't want to be sleeping in.” Super nods and headed home with her mother. This being a sign of a bright adventure. Or so it seems.
