Day 14
Another exhausting day... It wasn’t really that bad, it was just getting tedious. Slay Vulcans, Capture Florites, Slay Grizzles, Find Yu He plants, Slay Wespens, over and over and over! It’s just... Ugh!
Fortunately, during the quest to find the Yu He plants, we’ve met with Ali--a, a priestess of sort. She was able to help us find them. Of course, it still wasn’t easy since the usual monsters we have to fend off. When we did find the plants, I heard it again... “Come p--- with me!”. The same child I heard from that forest, why does it sound so fa-----r...
After bringing back the Yu He plants, Alicia asked me if she could join along side with Gareth and I. Gareth, of course, was uneasy of the idea. She said that she practices light magic and is willing to help ---- our wounds if needed. I took her offer, we do need a person to help our injuries since Gareth has trouble with medication himself.
During dinner, Alicia and Gareth seemed to get along pretty well. She did say that Gareth was a nice and kind man since he always got my back when things get tough. He waves off the compliments saying that it’s just what he thinks is needed to be done. Alicia ------- at the respond like it sounded funny, which it kinda was.
At night, I had a conversation with Alicia. I found out that she is a priestess of the St. Mi---el church. To think that Alicia, a priestess to such a holy church, would want to work along with mercenaries like me. I’m not complaining, but she has a lot of guts to do such a thing!
In any case, I've also told her about myself as well. On coming from --k-ra- village and having the best family anyone could have. She did ask me about my little brother. Like, what was he like, what does he do for a hobby, is he any way like me. I asked back why she needed to know and she said that I was saying a lot about him. I simply told her that he was like any other child, but a special one to me.
The next day, we make way to Fau---ood village for a little rest. I injured my knee along the way. Gareth asked if I was alright. I put on probably the most fak--t “I’m alright” look. Alicia was able to tend my wound quickly with her staff, though it still hurts a little, I can work through the pain.
I just hope that the next thing we do won’t make that worst... I may have just jinxed myself there... By Gods name, please make the next day less painful...
