Most recently, fell completely in love with this OP. It's likely my favourite (visually) in Shippuden to date:

:D I've been doing the same. I'm only on episode 84 though, I have a looooong way to go.

It's great to hear that someone else on Charms is actively watching it too! Why did you suddenly decide to watch it? (Or is this a rewatch?)

For me, I started following Boruto when it began airing on Crunchyroll and realized how much I still loved that universe. Then I started watching @Demelza stream the Naruto Ninja Storm games and ... I broke down. I wanted to finally see/know more! D:

Hmm, well a long while back ago I started watching Naruto since it was such a well known anime that so many people had different opinions on (either hating it or loving it) so I decided to check it out for myself.
(btw, sorry in advance for how I have to split up my response XD )

Took me a while to finish Naruto so I didn't feel like watching Naruto Shippuden since it was just so long and I didn't feel like it so I took a long break to watch other things.

But then when Boruto came out and I heard so many good things about it I decided to get back to the series and watch Naruto Shippuden since it just didn't seem right for me to watch Boruto without watching the rest of how Naruto’s personal story goes for myself.

Honestly, judging from what's happened during the canon episodes since I picked it back up, there are lots of great moments to look forward to. So many feels! And some of the discoveries have been excellent. I gotta say, no matter how bland the filler episodes can sometimes get (which I largely skip), I'm loving this show episode to episode.

I feel bad for blanket skipping some of the filler (I do still watch some of it!) but I'm aware that it's the main reason many Naruto fans were turned off the Shippuden anime, so it's probably best for my sanity and my continued appreciation of the show that I be a bit picky. :'D

:D I am too, and you are right there are a lot of feels to handle. I have already cried more than once. XD
But even with the filler episodes, I can't seem to make myself skip since it will bug me if I do so.
And on a happy note, I no longer hate Sakura like I used to. I still largely dislike Sasuke, but that may change as well as the series goes on I suppose.

You are stronger than me re: the filler episodes. I respect this. XD

Also, ditto to that regarding Sakura. She actually does things in Shippuden! It's so refreshing after how useless she was in the original series. As for Sasuke... I dubbed him "Butthead" a long time ago and the name stuck. I both lovehate the guy because I want to punch him in Shippuden but also want to hug him in Boruto. Damn Sasuke. X'D

Good job! I gave up at some point because of the quality in animation, read all the manga chapters and played through the Storm series though. :D

The quality of the animation? :? Doesn't seem that bad considering it isn't a new anime, but to each their own I suppose.

I noticed a significant drop in quality between some fillers and the episodes where the whole Ten Tails finale begins, don't deny it exists! Mostly it's good though, before the episodes where the mask breaks.

Oh okay. :)
Since I don't think I hit that part that must be why I haven't had any problems with the animation yet, but I also tend to not care as much about the animation. As long as an anime has an interesting character and an interesting enough storyline for me it doesn't have to have a perfect animation.

Don't get me wrong, I love Naruto! It's my favorite animé, but since I've read the whole manga already I don't really find the interest to re-watch the episodes. I'd rather just grab a volume from my cabinet and read it again. :)

I understand. :)
I've wanted to get into reading manga, but I just don't have the time nor money to get into it. I'd just borrow some from a library, but not many libraries have good selections to choose from around where I live.
(plus I don't care to read any manga digitally, just isn't the same as reading a physical copy of a good manga)

Fair, I read it digitally as soon as the new chapter came out. Later on I've been buying the physical copies after long translation process. :p
