I didn't EV train any of my earlier Pokémon either, I started doing it only on X/Y and ORAS because I really like the Super Training.

Then again I don't really care about the stats that my main Pokémon have, I like them regardless!

I usually leave trade-evolution Pokémon as they are. Onix, Magneton and Lampent are doing great as they are.
