I have shipped real people, but I don't bug them to get together or really try and get involved. I don't see any harm in shipping people who are real together as long as you don't try to control their lives and choices. But everyone has their own opinions on things. That is just mine.

I've been on the receiving end of this kind of behaviour. If you have to ship people irl, keep it in your head and don't bother them about it. Its incredibly frustrating to be pestered about it, and puts a real damper on your relationship with that person if it goes on for long enough.
