Don't listen to that. You aren't dumb. You are an intelligent person. If you teacher was calling you dumb just because you didn't understand a math problem, or because of something else that you were having trouble with, that doesn't mean you are dumb or aren't smart. Everyone has trouble from time to time. Different type of people learn in different ways. That doesn't make you stupid. It is normal to be different.

And math can be freaking confusing as heck. So yeah. If your teacher continues to call you dumb just ignore him or her. If you really are having problem understanding a certain math problem ask a friend who may be able to help, or a parent that might be able to help you understand.

Thanks, TooBlue, but I never really take anything he says seriously, anyway. I'm pretty sure he was joking, too, though. We were doing problems as a class and after each one I answered out loud, he'd be like, "since Emily got this one right, that means we can ramp it up a bit!" Thing is, I have around a 90% in the class! xD

Thank you for the encouragement, though. I'll keep all that in mind, for sure!
