Darn. I was hoping I could because then I could just save up for pokemon x or y instead of saving up for BOTH a 3Ds and either pokemon x or pokemon y

3ds are cheap on amazon unless you are wanting to get one of the new ones

I might ask for one for Christmas but I think I would rather save up and buy it myself. I would have my mom buy games for it though XD

You may want to save for sun or moon pre order and then 3ds for christmas
