How would that look? Would there be zombies? If there were zombies trainers themselves may need to be able to fight alongside their pokémon. I'm assuming more trainers would be fighting for money. There could be different factions fighting for control over the region. Thoughts?

There would factions fighting over control of the following Regions, Kalos, Sinnoh, and Hoenn. Zombies not so much, other kind of apocalypse, trainers would be fighting for money.

That's a look for Sinnoh, Hoenn is less developed, and Kalos has had to go through this before.
