He's not a gym leader. Just a type specialist ,but if he was a gym leader... He'd have a castle shaped like the iconic disney castle.

Inside the castle would be multiple rooms with a lot of gym/weight lifting equipment and body builders. However there would also be a few references to disney films. In order to ascend to the next room you will need to find all the references. 5 references each floor(1st and 2nd). The third floor would be the gym leader's battle area.

He'd be on the final floor watching movies with his close friends. Upon talking to him his friends will see your here to battle ,and will sit in the stands. He will smile and walk over to the starting area ready to battle.

That could work. The mickeys could be buttons you need to press which are located near the reference. Upon clicking all five you get to go to the next floor.

Ooh, that’s good. But do you know what I mean by ‘Hidden Mickey’? If not, what I’m talking about is a thing at Orlando’s Disney parks where they have hidden Mickey’s Head shapes around the park. A crack in the concrete, a small island on a lake, a ring of pebbles in an aquarium. Stuff like that.

I didn't initially know what you meant ,but I do now. They wouldn't be large like a lake ,but small buttons that you can easily overlook unless you were carefully looking for it ,or just got really lucky and spotted it. Since mickey mouse isn't in the pokémon universe the buttons would be shaped like marill. Similar shape.
