Fighting is pretty common, but they could be a pretty good threat.

I must've remembered wrong then. Thought Ground resisted itself. Wouldn't matter very much because it would still be weak to it... but many Fire types can learn Solar Beam. It wouldn't be STAB, but it could do some damage. Especially a Sunny Day powered Solar Beam

Still, earthquake is pretty common.
If they had leavitate, or are very fast, or bulky, they could be a threat.

I don't think any triple typing doesn't have a weakness. Dark/Ghost was the closest we got to that.

With Sableye, yeah. He had no weaknesses at all until the Fairy type came along. With the Dark type, he would've been weak to Bug and Fighting. But Ghost resist Bug and is immune to Fighting. With Ghost type, it would be ghosts themselves and the Dark type that would be a problem. But his own Dark type took care of that

ghost/normal is only weak against dark. Banette could have been normal/ghost. Why? It was just a plain ol' doll ,but it came back to life.
