I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of it, but that doesn't mean I'd deny having it in my Pokemon team/as a partner.

Krookodile saved his Unova team. Also fun fact: Krookodile never lost a battle after it evolved.

He really did, and he’s got a good moveset, for Ash standards anyway.

And I think he had a decent role in the Unova series: Met as a Sandile, caught as a Krokorok and groomed in to a Krookodile.
If I were to make a Pokemon villain like a Team Rocket Admin, Krookodile would be his main.
