Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
And Count Dooku. And Luke did let the dark side take over during his battle with Vader on Death Star 2. And then there's a bunch of Jedi's from before even Yoda's time
Being a jedi would be cool. Unless the 501st legion, darth Vader ,or emperor palpatine ask in which case it's a very bad thing ,and should be ostracized. Long live the empire, long live the emperor ,and may a swift end to the rebellion.
I would prefer being a grey Jedi. Those who make a balance between the light and the dark.
"There is no dark side, nor a light side. There is only the force. I will do what i must to keep the balance. There is no good without evil but evil must flourish. There is passion, yet peace. There is serenity, yet emotion. There is chaos, yet order"
Gray jedi are pretty cool ,but are frowned upon from both jedi and sith alike making allies potentially difficult to come by and life overall more difficult. Though I'm guessing if you went full on gray jedi you probably already knew this before going in.
I did. And if you look at Darth Sidious, you'll be able to tell that his actions in the prequels are not that much different from a grey Jedi. If i wanted allies, i could do things like him but in a more humane way
Honestly, I wouldn't mind being a simple neutral force sensitive. Not Jedi or Sith; No Order or culture telling me how to live my life between a semi-pacifist or a megalomaniacal edgelord.
Irl, I'd say I dress a bit edgy. And I act as if nothing matters. As if nothing gets me angry, nothing gets me sad and nothing surprise me. But I can really get angry sometimes. I wonder if my anger can also change the atmosphere like my mom's and sister's anger can...
I agree. If I have an edgelord, I prefer to make it a tsundere and I will make sure that it have a good enough backstory to be an edgelord. And I make sure to do my best to keep it consistent until enough character development is in place
I usually try avoid edgy personalities. Being the happy go lucky goofball is my preferred personality. Theres some really cool abilities that can be considered edgy. Pretty much anything involving necromancers. Even good ones are morally gray. That's just one example. Many others too...
I like the happy go-lucky goofballs, but I'm not that great at writing such characters. I'm better at edgelords. That's why I'm challenging myself to write such OC's, so I can get better
Usually when I make edgy characters egotistical is usually as far as I go. Though there are some evil characters that are too much fun. Being a sith or a bounty hunter can be tons of fun especially mandalorians.
Being a mandalorian is always fun. Flying around with your jetpack raining death and destruction while burning villages and shooting down warriors like target practice well. You still gotta follow the code of mandalore. Honor and respect. Yadda yadda yadda... ,but that's besides the point of course.
Also sorry @Annakins31174 for blowing up your notifications...
I prefer the "broken person" thing. I mean, someone who never really had a childhood for various reasons (I prefer abuse as the reason) but will ultimately do the right thing. I have managed to give more depth than that, but that's the recipe I use
