Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Yeah, I understand the data part. But you can get Pokeballs from Pokestops. I don't usually get to play more than one or two times a month, but I've been geting to play a little more recently. I mostly play on Community Days, when you get boosts for shinies and some other good stuff.
I suspected as much. But on community day, most people meet up 'downtown' and do raids together, walk around and catch Pokemon, and look for the shiny that was released that day. I'm not trying to convince you to rejoin, (although I wouldn't mid if you did. I can send gifts, which often contain Pokeballs.) but just letting you know how things work. The game has gone through a lot of updates as well.
It doesn't show where you live, although if you send gifts it tells you the name of the PokeStop it's from. (But community days are the best part lol! Why not?)
Oh, well of course you wouldn't while the whole Covid thing is still going down. But do you think you'll be able to once this whole thing is over? (There might be a stop at or near your school, now that I think about it.)
Maybe... anyway, I rejoined and was greeted to a Sunkern... and I had no Pokeballs... and the nearest stop is far away... at least I have a bouncy flower friend.
